Crush N Gusher Question

Under the Crush N Gusher description on disneyworld.com it says this at the end: "Up to 3 Guests can ride at once, or take the plunge yourself!" Does that mean that you can ride by yourself on those 3 person inner tubes? I'm hoping it means that because I will most likely be there by myself whenever I do go!

Crush and Gusher has three slides. There are two types of tubes that are used - two person tubes and three person tubes. The three person tubes can only be used on two of the slides. The two person tubes can be used on all three slides. So, if you are by yourself, you will be using a two person tube (you can ride it by yourself), and will be able to ride all three slides.

Oh cool. Thanks. Now what about the Runoff Rapids at Blizzard Beach. I know there's a single tube & the other 2 are double. Will they let me ride a double tube by myself on Runoff Rapids?

the tree person tubes - will they take three fully grown adults or is it best suited to one adult and two kids?

I saw 3 adults on the one tube at Crush N Gusher. They were normal size and didn't seem to be uncomfortable.

I saw one person in a two person tube at Runaway Rapids today. However, if you want to do the enclosed tube at Runaway Rapids, you have to do the single person tube. It is a neat experience!

Both rides are a lot of fun! I think I like Runaway Rapids a bit more but man, those steps are killers!

We went to TL on Sunday and everything was a walk on all day! Blizzard Beach today was crowded. Well, compared to TL. The family raft ride was a walk on for us once, it was about a 10-15 min wait 2 other times. The chair lift always had a 10-15 min wait but it was a nice change of pace from walking all the stairs.

YOUR SO SERIOUS??? You saw a single rider(& it wasn't a cast member) on a double tube on Runoff Rapids??? OH MY GOD!!! In a standard water park your not allowed to go by yourself on a double tube!!! I am now looking so forward to going to the water parks I can't wait to go!!! I have never ever been to both! They look so fun! & Your absolutely 100% sure I can go on Crush N Gusher-all 3 slides by myself on a double tube? & Runoff Rapids I can go on all3 myself? Just making sure!!!

Well .... gosh .... you are making me doubt myself I will double check later this week as we plan on going back to both parks Thursday and/or Friday. I don't think I said that I saw one person in a 2 person tube at Crush N Gusher. But, I am pretty sure I saw it at Runaway Rapids.

This trip is nothing but the Disney water parks and Universal for us so I bought the annual pass so we can go when we want.

I'll let you know what I see later this week if no one else responds.

which of the slides are your more likely to stay afloat in the tube when you hit the bottom and which ones will you more likely fall out of the tube at the end.

I have a son who is wary of the ones that you will end up falling out of at the bottom

OK .... I confirmed it today Singles use a double raft for Crush N Gusher (there are no single tubes). There are 3 slides. All 3 can use doubles, the Pineapple can only be a double tube (I think that is our favorite). We rode Crush N Gusher about 20 times today. No wait at all!

I don't recall the girls falling out of any tubes at either park. Typhoon Lagoon is a "softer park" - rides are slower/easier. I did see people falling out at Crush N Gusher but I think that is because they wanted to. My 6 year old and 10 yr old never felt out of that ride.

He can always watch everyone come out the bottom before heading up to the top of a ride to make sure he is OK with it. You have to pick up the tubes where people come out so he can see.

The only ride that made me a bit nervous with my 6 yr old was Storm Slides ride at TL - very strong entry/current at the bottom - no tubes.

Also, the wave pool at TL is rather dangerous IMHO. I saw many people smash into each other.

Went on Runoff Rapids today. I didn't see any solo people riding on double tubes today. I do know that the inside tube (the best IMHO) is a single tube ride. While that ride is a lot of fun, the queue is a bit confusing at the bottom and the stairs ...... we could only do the ride a couple of times.
