Cruising Sept 11, 2005 - All Aboard

Oh great, now I hurt your feelings. :sad2: Tell you what- you can be our official countdown clock. :hourglass

Nah, takes a lot more than that!!! :love2:

Just very excited about going and trying to keep this thread on front page...
I promise no more count downs,

I can't wait! I'm still here and waiting. My older kids are very excited and can't wait. They will even be taking that week off school. I'm pregnant with my fouth and last child and am so very excited. My toddler who turned two on July 1st has no clue yet about how much fun he will be having again since he already took this same cruise the end of January of this year. He'll be a little older and maybe understand a bit more. I CAN'T WAIT! Keep those countdowns a coming :cool1: ......

Jeanette

Just curious... I'm from North Central Florida and will be driving down for our cruise. What about you guys?

Jeanette

North Texas- flying, not driving. Too far to push driving in a day, and just wear ourselves out before our vacation even starts. :earsboy:

Right here from the Space Coast. Makes for a easy drive to the Port (only 20 minutes) :cool1:

That's awesome that you only have a 20 minute drive! I have a 4 hour drive. We are thinking of going down Saturday and possibly doing something at disney and head to the port early on Sunday. Since I've cruised before with Disney they say they do something special for return cruisers, does anyone know what they do? Also, how early can we actually get there?

Jeanette

We are from NW Oklahoma. We are driving down it will be me, husband, sister-in-law, and the kids are 14, 12, 9, 7, 6, and 16 months in a Expedition for 18 hrs. :scared1: We will need your prayers!!!! :crazy2: :scared:
:goodvibes No it will be OK we are leaving at 6 one evening me and my sister-in-law are going to drive all night while everyone sleeps then my hubbie will take over.

Hello All, :wave2:
Can't wait to go!! Were cruising with our two kids, 11 and 8. Looking forward to having fun with the kids, but also find the time to get a bit :drinking1 later!!

Sjeanette1969 - I have heard they are giving beach bags to return cruisers..it used to be a beach towel and a pin...We got to the port at 10:30 and was on the ship at 11:45 and eating lunch at Parrot Cay by 12:00. Not too much longer...keep asking dh is it here yet!!!!

Thank you so much. I too am so looking forward to the cruise. I'm pregnant with my 4th and last little one so it should be interesting to cruise while pregnant. At least I'm in my second trimester so I don't have to worry about that terrible morning sickness.

I think I will arrive at the port around 10:30 a.m. as well. Last time we had a buffet lunch at the beach blanket buffet and it was really nice with lots of good food. I think I'll try Parrot Cay this time for lunch. What did you think of it last time?

Jeanette

jeanette1969 - Congratulations!! We loved Parrot Cay and thought it is much easier especially if you have little ones. Beach Blanket buffet you have to go through a line with a tray, try and find a table, get drinks, too much work with little ones. AT PC they seat you and you go to the buffet much easier and relaxing.

Thank you. I will try Parrot Cay this time for lunch. It was hard to maneuver around with the tray and worry about getting the drinks. Great idea, thank you. I enjoyed Parrot Cay for breakfast a few times, it was very nice.

I can't wait! It's only a month and a half away. I can't believe how fast this year is flying by. We reserved this cruise while we were on a cruise in January and it seemed so far away. It's hard to believe it's almost here.

Jeanette

:jumping1: Hi everyone, sorry haven't had time to go online lately. My 3 year old daughter and I will be flying from Cleveland, Ohio in the mourning. I think we are also going to try Parrot Cay for lunch. That's a good idea. Last time I went on the cruise we got a beach towel and they also have a party for repeat cruisers with the captain.

:confused3 Is anyone planning a meet or anything for this cruise? I think we're going to make a sign or doorhanger. What color mickeys are you supose to get Lime Green? :confused3

:hourglass Only 45 days 20 hrs and 25 mins until we set sail. :sunny: Can hardly wait to go on my first cruise!!!!
