Cruising Sept 11, 2005 - All Aboard

Jinga - I am sure once your dd is on the ship she will be fine. We will need to set up a meet once we all get on board. Firsttimer and I have exchanged pictures of our dd's. DD is excited about meeting new friends.

tjhutch and firsttimer, my daughter is 5, she is very timid and shy hoping that she will make some friends so she will not be so lonely. This is our first cruise, I am hoping that she will not be afraid of the boat and the characters. I am hoping for her to meet a few friends to make the trip happy!!

my DD is the same way jinga. but through this board i'm starting the initial meeting process for her. :cool1:

Hi everyone, my DD and I will also be on this cruise. It will be my first time bringing her and she will be 3 years old. I am worried about weather or not she'll be potty trained by then, but we should have a good time either way. Does anyone have any good tips about bringing toddlers on the cruise? :bounce:

Hi all ... Add 2 more to this group. My BW and I will be on this cruise. Booked in a Category 12 guarantee so hopefully the ship won't be full. This is our 12th cruise but first on Disney.

Hi, everyone! You need to add alot more to your cruise. Like 10 more, there goes everyone's upgrades!! HAHA Anyway it well be me, dh, dd, ds, dmom, dsis, and her 4 ds's. :grouphug:
my kids are 6 & 5 and hers are 13, 12, 9 & he'll be 16 months. This is our 2nd Disney Criuse and her 1st. Our last was 3 years ago though. So I need help with all the new stuff I need to know.

Shannon I was able to get my son potty trained when he 21/2 by telling him
you can't go play with all the other kids unless you can use the big boy potty.
It worked he was potty trained about 5 months before our cruise and the day we sailed was his 3rd b-day. :wizard:

the cruise is getting closer and we are under the 105 days mark now (did ny reservations for the spa a Palos last Sunday online and it was so easy and great). I just can't wait for the time to come when we leave cause it means we are married.

Thanks jeleadams for the info. I hope it works. She will be 3 in july and is not even trying to use the potty. Everytime I bring it up she throughs a fit. I hope it works

It is looking like we are going to have the quietest group of cruisers possible! :sad2:

RAM - I keep checking periodically to see if anyone else if posting. Sure does seem like it is going to be a quite group...

I was wondering the same thing about our group. It does seem like a very quiet group. Maybe we'll all let loose on the ship :cheer2: . I'm really looking forward to all the fun. We went on the same cruise in January and am so looking forward to our Sept. cruise. I can't wait. My 10 year old and 8 year old didn't go with us on our January cruise because of school and we are taking this one in Sept. for them. It will be here before we all know it :hourglass . Maybe some additional cruisers will find this thread and make some more postings. I hope everyone has a great day :earboy2: .

I am here too!!! It seems still so long before we board.... Ready for fun though. :sunny:

i'm still here too. I don't get to go online often or I would post more. The cruise seems so much closer now that we booked our excursions online. I cant wait. Hopefully my 3 year old will be potty trained she's doing a little better with it. have a good day everyone. :cool1:

Just reading some other cruise meets dates and some cruises that are leaving much later than ours, or some during the same time are up to over 2000 posts. Very busy cruise. Ours is neatly at 70+. Hoping that we can keep this date a secret!!! And then we will all be upgraded.
Anyone signed up for all the excursions? I got the stuff in the mail and read all about, but of course haven't done anything yet. I will be the one at the terminal screaming to be let on one of the excursions.... My own fault for not doing this on time :rotfl: Still don't know what to do. Part of me want to just do nothing but sit on the beach or by the pool, and the other part wants to go do extreme adventures. :moped:

Booked our Palo reservations and signed our dd up for the club. I am so glad disney is doing this now!!! It was frustrating when dh and I would have to go in seperate directions to get reservations. We have not decided if we are going to do any excursions, if we do it will be at CC. Our plan is to stay onboard in nassau and enjoy the ship...

Aaahhhhhhhh!!! Tried to go online to make ressies, and the site is experieincing problems with the online ressies stuff!!! :badpc:
I just want Palo's, I'll take any day and time. Would like to do a spa also, but will give that up for a Palo's ressies... How do we know what night to book, since I don't know what my dining rotation is? I would hate to have ressies at Palo's on the night of the light show in AP, although I wouldn't mind doubling up on dinner... Just won't eat for a month after cruise. Already started dieting, but this stress about not being able to book is not helping... I have a list of must haves on the cruise, and I am not passing up anything.

That's the same thing I've been trying to decide, what day to make the ressie for Palo's :confused3
I've checked out all the excursions and I think I kow which ones I want so now I'm just waiting, :goodvibes
My DD asks everyday if we're going to disney today and I keep saying no honey not til it's your birthday and she says I wish we could go now and I'm thinking me too baby, me too :earboy2:

Got the Palo's ressies!!! So excited. We will be "double dipping" for dinner that night. Since I was trying to get a larger group to all sit together, I wound up calling after I made the ressies online. I asked the DCL rep what if my Palo dinner is on the same night as AP light show, and she said that it should be okay to change night. I will keep her to it!!! But we will make it in time for our late seating. So excited.... :cheer2:

We did Palo on our last cruise and we double dipped. I thought I was going to explode  We decided this time we would try the brunch. We are getting very excited about the cruise. Our 2 dd's still do not have clue we are going on a cruise. :ssst:

Bumping, since I had a hard time finding the thread... We sure are a quiet bunch. Saving all the energy for when we are on board...

Anyone made their ressies today??? Still can't decide what excursions, and by the time we decide, they will be all booked up. :confused3

Anyone???? :wave2:
Am I the only one that is celebrating 75 days to go??? Maybe I'll get upgraded to the Roy Disney suite.... :rotfl:
