Well, 3 out of the 5 cruise packet documents arrived via UPS today. The two cabins that got upgrades are the two missing.

Also, I thought there would be information regarding our transfers from WDW to DCL on the Disney bus but there is nothing. I'm in charge of 11 people and 20 pieces of luggage and I have no idea what I'm doing.

No travel docs here either. Hopefully they will get here tomorrow but if they are coming by UPS I won't get them until sometime around dinner. Not sure why our UPS is that way but we never get anything from them until 5:30 at the earliest. They stop and my neighbor's all day long but must not like us! LOL Guess I wonder why we even need travel docs since we have confirmation numbers, online checkin, etc. I know, we all like stuff that says Disney, right? Makes it feel more real.

I need to finish some FE stuff and pray that my extender shows up before we leave. If not, you will know by the lovely plastic Target bag hanging from the FE. Need to find DH and I some goggles and snorkles. We found the boys nice sets but not for some stupid reason didn't buy ourselves any. I have flippers though.

What are your DH/DBs taking for the formal/semiformal night? I'm bringing a black dress. Very original but covers all bases.

Good luck with that room arragement Pakey. You all obviously get along pretty well or you wouldn't be cruising together (and good for you) but that is a little too close.

Hi just surfing around ..wanted to see whos crusing on my b day LOL
ok so for the person whos got 11 people and luggage if your taking transfers from WDW hotel youll need to go to the right hotel you can call disney for hotels and departure times... when you get to the hotel they will check your bags and take them away like MAGIC then when you get onboard youll get your bags delivered later that day maybe like 3 pm? anywas anything you want right away kee with you ... same for the return youll leave your bags out the night before by 9 pm i think keep a carry on with you for pjs toothbrush etc. when the morning rolls around you just WALK OFF so cool i know no numbers to be called just leave and find your luggage by catagory like ours was goofy ... then give to bus driver and they will take them to final spot .... no need for a porter if you have people who can do their own luggage and i dont recall even seei a porter when we went but im legally blind so who knows LOL have any other ????s post here i will be back .... im so sad im sailing in oct and have the cruise blues i need to cruise 'NOW !!!

UPS just delivered last 2 sets of cruise docs. Now if I can just get those FE gifts finished up/boxed to UPS down, I'd feel like I was ready.

We got ours today too - addressed to DS4! He thought it was pretty cool to get his own mail!

4ollies, whatever you bring for the guys is fine - the last 3 night we were on, there wasn't a formal/semi formal night - there was what they called "optional dress up" night - so there was quite a range of styles of dress. DH will probably wear dress pants and a dress shirt - probably no tie unless I can talk him into it. lol

We got our documents today and found out we are upgraded to cat 9 from cat 12!!! At first I just thought it was a better inside room and then realized it is an outside room with a window! My kids are soooo excited!

ReneaB congrats on a huge upgrade. Bet that split bathroom will work much better with a 16 year old DD. Is the cruise for her birthday?

Happy birthday Denversees4me. Wouldn't it be nice to have enough $$ and time to just cruise whenever you wanted? I've seen cruises that last 45 days and wonder who has the time to do that. Not me or any of my friends.

My BF is packing dress pants and dress shirts for dinner and i am bringing sundresses and dressy capris for dinner - I like to have options - hence a heavier bag

What is everyone thinking about doing on their day in Nassau? We were thinking about doing Atlantis via Comfort Inn & Suites but i then changed my mind - MIL does not swim and I get concerned about spending $300 and not being sure about the weather and then feeling pressure to get there and get the most out of the experience, etc..... So i think what we are going to do is CHILL OUT! I am looking at going to the Adastra zoo and maybe the Pirate museum and do a little shopping - has anyone ever heard of someone doing the zoo on their own and not through DCL?

Almost time guys!!!! We are getting so excited.....

Pakey - All i can say to you re: the luggage scenario is good luck and I have faith that your organizational skills as exibited by your ability to get thus far will prevail!!!

I have a nice pant suit that I'm bringing for dress up night. then DH probablly dresspants and a button up shirt (as dressy as he'll go. lol), suit jacket for my son , not sure what DD17 is taking yet , then probablly a princess dress for DD7.

I'm not sure if we are doing an excursion at all in Nassau. Everyone keeps telling us to stay on the boat So I guess we are playing by ear. best thing sometimes.

I do not think we'll be dressing up much. I am planning on just bringing some black slacks and a top I had purchased for dinner in Paris a few months ago; it travels well and I'm not about to iron anything. Dh will be wearing country club attire.

For Nassau, my husband and I are doing the Segway Tour (we love riding Segways). Youngest son and his girlfriend/maybe fiance are doing the Dolphin excursion at Atlantis. Oldest son and his wife are doing the Nassau beach day. Middle son, his, wife and son and the ex-wife and her husband did not book anything.

I'm afraid all of these water activities are going to be too cold for us Californians. It's 65 here today and I still have to wear a jacket outside.

It is 17 degrees right now with a lovely north wind. I will not be missing this in nine days. Still looking for those cruise docs so guess I will be calling tomorrow. Our Disney Rewards Card didn't make it either. It should have been here a week or so ago but that was coming through USPS so not that surprising. They told DH they would have one waiting for us at Epcot so they could be sure we had it during vacation. Thought that was nice.

We aren't planning on doing anything at Nassau. My MIL would hate all the people around the dock area, FIL can't walk very well, kids would be happy where ever we put them, so just plan on hanging around.

Pakey where at in cali ??? did you get a good deal on flight? where r you flying out of ? last year we flew out of san diego and i watched the expedia and travelocity sites when i found i good deal i went to southwest i found an even better deal there... i got 2 RT tickets for 410 !!!!! its so cheap to fly out of san diego
you guys i think if i lived in florida i would be in big big trouble !!!! i would own stock in DCL !!!! i would be taking a 3 day every 3 months LOL

We are flying out of Fresno. Airfare is usually about $700 per person. We do not have Southwest here; our choices are Delta and United. We could also fly American but those are usually closer to $850 a person. The best deal we have gotten in the past 5 years is $500 per person. We go to Florida 2-3 times a year and our biggest expense of the trip is always the airfare.

What kind of dog is Denver? We had a woman who worked for me who raised guide dog puppies so we had many at our office over the years. Mostly labs but we had a few goldens and even a short haired collie once. They sure work hard to become guide dogs.

I am sure the rest of you are eager to get out of the snow! Its getting close now.

We just got our room assignment. Deck 7 aft 7627, Cat 11. It's not an upgrade but I heard that it's right next to the secret verandah. Should be happy.

Just 2 more weeks.

hey guys FYI they lock the secret deck from 7 pm to 7 am ..... they also use it for service dogs potty pool so if you see a pool with grass in it DONT let your kids play in it LOL LOL LOL have fun

Pakey - OMG i think a drive to LAX or Ontario the night before might be well worth the savings on airfare !!!!! WOO HOO 7-8 hundred is STEEP .... i woud think about it or try it once and see how it works for you ..... it depends on how many r flying but GEEZE man i thought it was bad for me to fly last min. at 350 WOO no more complaning here

Denver is a yellow lab he is seen in my avatar ( did i spell that right ) on castaway key .... i think he is with pluto in that pic also cant remember ... he came from guide dogs of america in Sylmar Ca. Im sure your office lady raised for guide dogs for the blind in san rafiel ca did the dogs wear a green jacket ?" if so they are GDB dogs if yellow they are denvers school GDA if not then blue they are GDD ( guide dogs of the desert palm springs ca ) its always nice hearing of others raising these fabby dogs for us !!! they do work hard and are a TREMENDOUS help
