My family and I are interested in doing the Disney Cruise- in February 2005. Has anyone gone that time of the year? If so- how was the weather? RAIN? Chilly in Florida?? Were the seas rough?? All information would be appreciated, as we want to book now so we can start the planning and countdown-- and maybe save some money.

Also, what itinerary did you choose-- looking for suggestions on which islands are the most fun!!!

THANKS!!!

We've traveled 2 of the 3 times in Feb. It was cooler, the water was cooler, I didn't even get in at 2 places. It was sunny most of the time but on both cruises we had 1 day that was cloudy all day. I guess it depends what you are used to regarding temps. The ships pools are heated to about 81 so they are very nice. We've also gone in March and I preferred that trip as it was warmer and calmer seas. Regardless you'll have a great time! :sunny:

We just returned from the 2/21 Eastern cruise and the weather was absolutely perfect (mid 80's and sunny) until Castaway Cay day. That day, there were gale force winds and the temperature was in the 70's. We still managed to dock at Castaway Cay and enjoy the island, but it would have been nicer if it was warmer! That night we had 15-20 foot waves, but I didn't even realize it. I slept right through them! We had no problem swimming in the ocean at any of our stops, although we come from Michigan and may be used to cooler water temperatures. We are planning to cruise again on February 12, 2005.

We had a great time on our FEB 1, 2004 Cruise.

I booked another for FEB 6,2005

We're on the Wonder, having a great time. The weather is okay: the temps are in the 70's. CC Day was a bit chilly and the water waas cold. We chose not to swim or go snorkeling. We had a few intermittant rain drops and a cool breeze every so often. We had a wonderful cabana massage and ate. Afterward, we went back to the beach for a little while, then we decided to pack it in and go back to our stateoom. The clouds were looming around us.

We have had a great time aboard ship. All we've done is read, have spa treatments, eat, and sleep. (We did workout a couple of times.)

The crew is outstanding. We made ressies with Danielle for next year. It's gonna be hard to wait, maybe I'll get DH to go sooner.
