Cruising from FLL

Yes, everyone will be heading to the taxis. But you shouldn't have wait long for one, and it won't take long to get to the airport.

Haven't tried Uber from the port as it's always been more convenient to grab a taxi. I'd imagine that you'd get surge priced a bit though, depending on how many ships are in port that day.

We cruised out of FLL in Oct and April. I just looked up our receipt from Oct. Uber was $33 including 20% tip for standard size, not XL. Back in April, we sailed with friends and it was cheaper to get a taxi to FLL, which was $25 + tip, than getting an Uber XL. I forget what was the going rate at the time.

We usually do self-carry/early walk off so maybe we're ahead of the rush.
