HI!

This is our first Disney Cruise and I have a lot of questions....but where to begin?
First I am traveling with my DH and 2 DD ages 7 and 4. My main question is that we will not be flying home until the day after the cruise. So...we need something to do on Sunday. What time to you have to be off the ship and should we take the Disney Transport back to the airport and rent a car? Or should we bite the bullet and stay at one of the Disney Resorts for the night and spend the day at the Magic Kingdom? HELP!

Have you ever stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel? We are surprising our kids with a stay there the night before the cruise. We plan to get there right at check in time on Wednesday to give them a full day of fun.

We are staying the night before at AKL for around $200 w/ tax and the night after the cruise at CSR for $117 w/ tax.

I'm starting to really get excited about this vacation more and more every day now!!!! I bought a few items for the trip (tons of sunscreen!!) and will have to lug out the luggage soon so that I can start to throw things in as I think of it!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!!

I'm getting more and more excited about the trip too! I was looking at some personalized items that I might order for the fish extender group. Am I seeing it right that so far there are 7 families signed up, and there are 12 total families on the list at the start of this thread? So as of right now the most families that might participate would be 12? Not trying to rush anyone, but I'll need to order pretty soon if I'm going to get anything personalized.

Speaking of personalized, do we want to have a name for our little group? Anyone feeling creative and have a great idea? All I can come up with is something really generic like "Cruising on the Disney Wonder, May 14-17 2009". I know there's someone out there with something better than that!

Well, Jenni, I think you're on to something . . . we may need to enforce a cut-off date so that those participating can prepare.

Cut-off Date for joining Fish Extender group: Friday, April 3
PM me if you want to join!!


Also, we also need to decide how we want this to operate:

1) Buy for everyone: 14 adults and 13 kids so far

2) Buy for kids only: 13 kids so far

3) Buy for families: 7 families so far

4) Do whatever you feel . . group gift, kids only, or everyone in the room!!!

Where are you guys getting your pins?

We always buy them in bulk on ebay ... you can get them for around $1.65 and up per pin and they are not fun pins to keep but they are authentic trading pins so I buy about 30 or so ... and then let my daughter trade them with cast members for the really good ones. I pay around $40 or so ... and she walks away with close to $150 worth of pins.

I was just doing the same ... looking through the other creative titles ... and someone has Magical "MAY"niacs ... can we be the Wonderful MAYniacs?

Or maybe Cruisin' Castaways? or Cruisin' MAYniacs?
