Seriously, my DH and I will be celebrating our 16th Anniversary on May 15 while onboard this year. When is your 20th exactly?

I hadn't realized I haven't checked in here in so long!! Our 20th is actually May 13th.

It's a early close this afternoon for the schools ... so I will be heading out a little early from work today ... when I get home, I will post some pictures of Pirate Night on both of our previous cruises!!

Just made the last payment on our land/sea!!!!

I also got our Fish Extender from a fellow diser. So I guess it won't be too long till we will need to see who wants to do this. I think it will be so much fun.

Haven't been here in a while, something made me decide to change from working 3 days a week (12 hour shifts) to a 5 day a week job and apply for graduate Nursing school

Now I am really going to need this trip before the madness starts!

The boys still don't know yet about the trip. We have managed to keep it a secret since we booked in September-only a few more months to go!

Should we begin taking a poll to see who wants to do the fish extenders? I think we also need to know if we are doing family to family *match up families of same numbers* or person to person??? I want to start buying/making gifts so that I am R E A D Y when the time comes!

Is anyone booking spa or other excursions?

Gosh it seems like forever since I have posted. Things have been crazy busy here. Especially this week...DH was in the hospital Mon-Thur....was having chest pains but they could never find what the cause was. He seems to be doing better today.

The good part of the week was that after I took DH home on Thursday and got him settled I went by our TA and paid the balance on our trip. WOO HOO!!!

I don't think we are going to do any excursions this time as this is our first trip and since it is short we plan on staying on the boat for the most part in Nassau and just checking out the boat. I am thinking about surprising DH with a massage though...he deserves it after all he has been through this week. Guess I better start looking into that.

We are definitely in for FE's!!! And we are game for however everyone wants to do it.

Hope you guys have a great weekend!! We have a busy one. DD's bday is next Thur and we are surprising her tomorrow with a bedroom makeover. She is spending the night with my sister tonight and will be home to see the new room tomorrow evening. I can't wait!

Newbie here!!! We are doing our first Disney Cruise on May 14 too! A small introduction: Me, Colleen (37), DH, Erin (35), DD, Mackenzie (3), and DS, Will (will be 7 months old at the time of the cruise). We are from Atlanta, GA. Mackenzie is soooo excited about this cruise and can't stop talking about it! In fact, it was the incentive behind potty training and it worked!!!

Hope to get to know every one a bit before we head out!

I am so excited. I just booked us at the Nickelodeon hotel for the night before our cruise.

The kids have been wanting to go there for a long time now. We are going to keep it a surprise.

We had planned on getting a hotel close to port where we could leave our car but I think I would rather pay for parking so they could get a chance to finally stay at the Nick hotel.

This is making me wish for May to get here NOW!!!!!!!!!

Boy, we are going to have to liven things up on this post! We're going on a cruise people, let's get excited!

OK I feel better lol. I've been just as bad about checking in here. Work is crazy right now so my cruise planning has been put on hold. But I'm definitely in for the fish extender group. As far as who gets what for who, I don't have a preference so someone just tell me what to do! I live in the middle of nowhere, so I'll need some time to get the stuff once we decide what we're doing.

Shannon, I hope your husband's feeling OK now. I think maybe your daughter and I have the same birthday - was it yesterday, the 26th? Hope she had a good one! Did she love her new bedroom?

My dh is fine now too....thanks so much for asking about him.

Now I am hoping things have started to settle down a bit around here so I can start working on door magnets. I can't wait to decorate our door....I just think that is such a cool idea.

One of the girls I work with is going on a Disney cruise 2 weeks after ours so she and I have been sharing ideas about door decor and fish extenders. It is funny because we have another coworker who is an avid cruiser (she's going on one next month), but has never been on a Disney cruise. She tells us all the time she is jealous about all the fun stuff we have planned like the doors and fe's.

Hey guys!

Really starting to get excited about our trip. Haven't been on the boards much lately, just transitioned into a new role at work-staff nurse to educator. So it has been a crazy few weeks!

Ok-so I'm ready to start planning gifts for the fish extender exchange! Any volunteers to coordinate it?

Bought the boys camo tevas yesterday (wanted them broken in before we left)they still don't know! I'm going to have to tell the teachers soon so they can plan on how they will do their work that week.

Starting to think about clothes, the boys need all new shorts, only about 2 pairs each fit.

I hope that we are going to be able to pack in two suitcases and everyone a backpack. We'll see....

Seriously though-lets get planning on the FE for those that want to participate!

I agree that we have to get moving on the FEs ASAP!!

I believe that Maria (Cruiser1969) had offered to coordinate the FE project. Maybe I will send a PM and see if she is still interested in doing that?

I have started getting stuff together just a little bit ... new bathing suits, etc ... I have to be sly about it as this is still a surprise for my kids!!
