We have been getting a lot better at it. I just came back from my last football game. We were actualy leading 21-14 at halftime, but then the band had to leave and I went back to check the score. It was 21-33 . They must have lost their motivation from the band. We have state on Sat, and a competion on Fri. I also have a swim meet this weekend so I will be busy. I am so happy that I don't have any homework this weekend. Has is been cold in New Jersey? I has been snowing here BBBBUUUUURRRRRR. Are you sad that marching season is almost over? I thought that I wouldn't, but now that we are doing better ever time I am sad that is coming to an end. TTYL, and maybe we will get this thread to 100 soon.

Ciara great job at the competion!!!!! We had state on Saturday. We got 4th in our division, but there was one band that should not have been in out division so we got 3 really. That is a lot better then the 5th place that the band got last year. I also had to swim at a meet this weekend. I was so happy, because in one of my events I bet everyone by 1/2 a lap and I got a AA which is a meet that quaifies me for Age Group Championships in California. I hope that you do well at your next competion.TTYL

Congrats on the marching band competition. Kylie's band has come a long way this year so hopefully they can continue it next year.

Ask Kylie about the "flying mouthpiece" if you get a chance. I'm sure she'd love to tell you about it.

I have to go to school today . As my dad said at my competion we were marching up and we were all at attention, and then when I got to my spot and put my french horn up my mouth piece fell off. I had to bend down and get it. We were watching the video and I stuck out like a sore thumb!!!!!!!!!

fortierv- Thank you. Lets hope we get this lucky at Giants Stadium.

Kylie- Thats ok. We all make mistakes. This girl in my band fell in mud 2 times at one of our football ganes and the kids were so mean to her. She was so embarrased she didnt come to the championship competition the next day.

Ciara at one of my football games when we were marching onto to field one of the base drums tripped over the yard marker and fell over his drum. He wasn't hurt, and that broke the ice so we all preformed well. At our last reherasal one of our cymboll players fell and she broke her ankle. She was able to play at the competion the next day, and she said she was fine.
I hope more kids come to the board soon. We will never catch up to the adults at this rate.

Ciara have you gotten your report card yet. I got mine today. I got staright A's, but a A- in spanish and a B in Algebra. Durring Algebra I asked my teacher what my % was. He said it was a 89.3%. If I had .2 more than it would have rounded up to a 90% and that would have been a 4.0. This is only a progress report though and it won't go on my transcript so I know to bring that up for the simester. Good luck at the competion! I will pray for no rain!
