just wondering what is the future of cruising will be now the the US iran
We have a cruise to Europe in just 2 months
It’s very unsettling with all that’s going on now to think of cruising

If the world is going to end, id rather end it on a disney cruise ship

It's going to bump up the cost of oil - the only ship its going to affect will be the Adventure getting to Singapore - ir will have to take the long journey round South Africa im guessing - although I imagine that would have been the plan all along anyways.

Exactly. I grew up in Dublin in the 1980's and 1990's before The Good Friday Agreement. Dublin is 90 minutes on the freeway to Belfast. My knowledge of The Troubles was only what I saw on TV like everyone else. Things that happened in Belfast or other places in The North had no impact on my daily life.

I have had the opposite recently. Everyone in Ireland has seen the news reports of the protests in LA and people are questioning about how that affects Disneyland. Those of us who know SOCAL know that Disneyland in Anaheim is no where near Downtown LA.

If you are from the US, join Travel.State.Gov. The State departments website. You can register with them your travel plans. They will send you updates as to what to be aware of in the areas where you are traveling. Right now, just a general travel alert to use increased caution for US citizens. I find that to be true where ever and whenever you travel these days-not just due to this particular event or any ongoing events. While what is happening is concerning, the impact to your cruise, will be that it will go on. As long as you are not flying through or connecting in the middle east, you should be fine.

It's understandable to be concerned. Two months is long way out. Things could get better or they could get worse. There's no way of knowing what it's all leading to, but the destinations you are going to should be fine. Disney already pulled out of Turkey months ago.

I agree with you about cruise ships not being targets. but I do associate Disney with America even if the ship isn't flagged as an American ship.

Pretty sure Micky Mouse is about as American as it gets...

I'd take a look at this map.... see if it get's updated after the Iran bombings. But I'd be more worried about port activities than an attack on a modern cruise ship.
