Happy New Year's Eve!!

I would love to plan a cruise for our 10 yr. wedding anniversary. Our anniversary is April 30th, however, DH and I won't be able to get any vacation time until atleast June. I would really like to take a 5 day cruise (cost will be a factor, unfortunately, this year). I also want to cruise somewhere that has crystal clear water :teeth: Really don't want to do a Disney Cruise without DD15 (would probably not have a good time due to the guilt I would feel...lol). Any suggestions??

We did a cruise last June to Bermuda and we had a blast. The beaches there are wonderful, and I am not a beach person! The water is so blue and clear. We did not take our 14 year old and we are so glad we didn't. Not much to do for kids. We did not want to spend a lot of money on airline tickets, so we crusied out of Baltimore, MD on RCCL. If we had time and money, we would do this cruise again.

Bermuda is a great destination but its a 7 day cruise. I would opt for a 7 day cruise, the ships are usually nicer. My favorite line is Celebrity but you could consider RCCL or Princess as well.

I would suggest Bermuda especially since the ports would be closer to where you live. Also....cruising is the only way to go if going to Bermuda as hotels, restaurants are horribly expensive there....We were in Bermuda on business and stayed in a hotel....thankfully dh was on company expenses....We saw cruise ships in port and said that is the only way to visit as you could tour the island and go back to the ship for meals. The water is beautiful there....

Bermuda is a longer cruise, but is a great trip :sunny: if you're still looking for a 4-5 night cruise, Royal Caribbean does 3-5 nighters to the Bahamas on the Sovereign of the Seas. you could do a 3 night to the Bahamas and add on a night or 2 in WDW :sunny: I've been on this ship a bunch of times, and while it's not the newest in the fleet, it was recently renovated, and you can get really good deals. Have fun whatever you decide :)

I have only been one one cruise ( 4 nite Disney)

But have done a lot of reading and research.

I would have to consider a Celebrity cruise! :goodvibes

I would go with royal caribbean--i have been on 2 cruises with them and leaving for another one next week!
We started going when i was in 10th grade and i loved it then too...
this time, we are going to costa maya, cozumel, grand caymen, key west
