Cruise Meet -April 21, 2012 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean

I thought it was on the day of embarkation? Either way we will try and be there

You know, you're right - I'm going to put this in my calendar right now so I don't forget -- and here's what I posted:

Let's see if we can do the photo tentatively at 3pm embarkation day.

I'd even bring my own tripod for this.

Almost 8 months away!

Seeing turtles while snorkeling would be awesome. We may try to do that Doubloon excursion. We will/should be there for the group photo. We have never done that before...fun fun! I will feel so much better when the cruise is paid off! DH is working like crazy right now to pay it off. :)

Hi everyone!

After keeping our cruise a secret for over a year , we finally surprised the kids Christmas morning.

So we will be sailing on the April 21 Fantasy cruise. So so excited.

DH, myself, DS who will turn 14 on the cruise and DD (8).

I can't believe we are almost at 100days!!!!

Welcome rolipolieoliefan! Hard to believe it's almost here for me too. At least I have a Disney weekend trip scheduled for next month, that's just 3 weeks away.

Please be sure to sign our roster if you plan on joining the FE group (nikicares is running that, you can also submit your info here). I'm hoping to get a group shot on embarkation day in the Lobby Atrium by the Minnie Mouse statue around 3pm, feel free to join!

And have a Happy New Year!

:welcome: to roliepolieoliefan!

Our group also just added another couple (late booking). They knew we were going and decided to join in on the fun :cool1:

We are also booked for Palo, Palo Brunch and Remy :thumbsup2

Now, if April would get here...we can have some fun! ;)

Just a reminder as a solo cruiser, I have late dining, if there are either other solo cruisers or those that would want another body at their table, I would be willing to link reservations for dining only.

I was looking at the port adventures listed and I have a question.....last i looked at the port times it didn't jive with a port adventure listed on the website. Can someone check for me to see if the Dolphin adventure on Tortola is being offered for our cruise??? I think it is for the second island stop and I keep getting them confused. Thanks for your help!

PS the scavenger hunt went good. Nothing crazy from my son like you see on the others videos. He didn't put it all together. But he had fun and is now getting a bit excited. Certainly not as excited as mom. Oh well.

Hope you all have had happy holidays so far and will continue to have a happy New year!!

Nevermind. I didnt realize there was a Tortola dolphin encounter that left from St. Thomas......

Sorry I looked and on the St. Maarten Day Day 4 and did not see any Dolphin Excursions or anything for Tortola.

But on Day 5 St.Thomas/US Virgin Islands they have the Tortola Dolphin Encounter ($162.50 child and $188 adult) and they also have the Tortola Dolphin Observer ($101 child and $129 adult), and there is still availabilty showing at this point.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the information. I did not realize that you can't transfer ressies to Costco anymore.

Its not just Costco. When you book onboard, you need to specify the travel agent. Then you can retain the onboard booking discount (except for a suite) and get the incentive from your travel agent as well.

If you book onboard without specifying a TA DCL becomes your travel agent. Then when you trandfer the reservation, the TA cannot get it at their usual rate.

Thank you!!! That is the one!!! Great! DS just watched Dolphin Tale and that is all we are hearing about now too is swimming with the dolphins. I know it won't be a lot of swimming but it something better than swimming with the salmon, trout, perch and muskies we get in WI. LOL

Thanks for checking!!!!!! I SO appreciate it!!!!

Hi there everyone!! I am so excited to say this April 21st Disney Cruise is my first cruise ever!!! We booked out cruise just about one year ago, and it is hard to beleive we are almost 100 days away!
I have done TONS of research on special tips and suggestions for our cruise and the one thing I am so excited for is to participate in the Fish Extender fun! How can I get signed up?

One more thing, does any of the seasoned DCL Cruisers have any suggestions or reccomendations for myself and family cruising on the Fantasy April 21st- 28th?

So excited, can hardly stand it!!:cool1:

Cindy

Hi Cindy,

Welcome! We just joined this group a couple days ago. There is a link to sign up for the FE somewhere on this page.

Well I just saw how many posts we have 498, sooooo I wanted to post 2 more to make 500! On my last cruise in August, our meets page had a game where whoever landed on the 100th post earns a pirate:. So ( 200, 300, etc.) earns a pirate head.. I know silly, but fun. We checked our meets page frequently to be the winner. So I will get this started for fun...
