Cruise map for purchase on board?

Hi All,

A couple years back we took a cruise on the NCL Escape and we were able to purchase a map that was marked with the path of our trip and stamped with an NCL Escape stamp and signed by the captain. They sold them onboard and you picked them up towards the end of the sailing. I don't remember this being offered on our last DCL cruise, but that was a few years back. Anyone aware of anything similar being available?

Back in the day when they had auctions on board, they used to have one (and I believe only one) for the cruise - all nice and signed by the captain. It was sold through the Silent Auction. Once they did away with the auctions on board, I've never seen anything like this offered. Just sailed last week and walked through all the Disney shops on the Fantasy - didn't see one.

Don't remember which shop on which ship, but we have one from all of our sailings, most recent 2018, and just got the captain to sign them at Captains Gala once the drop off has been done away with.

We bought maps like this several years ago at the “adult” shop on the Magic and Wonder, but I haven't seen any in the past few years. Then again, most of my recent cruises were in Europe, so the ship may still have maps of the Caribbean.

This used to be our main souvenir on every cruise, but in the last five years or so, we haven't been able to find them. So now I buy either an art print of the ship or I go to Shutters and buy an actual photo of the ship (I did this when we were in Alaska and the Panama Canal because it was a photo of the ship in those areas) and then take it to the Captain's signing and have him sign and date it. I do really miss though the actual maps!!
