Cruise magnets

Hi. This will be our first Disney cruise and we wanted to get cruise magnets. Looking for Etsy or Instagram recommendations.

I was just looking at his shop on Etsy. Which option did you purchase? There is magnetic and laminated

I think when I first ordered from them they only had the laminated kind where each one has small magnets attached to the back. Those worked great.

For my most recent order they had started offering the magnetic sheet, and that is really nice because the finish doesn’t have as much glare and the design goes all the way to the edge.

We are sailing concierge next year on the Dream so I also got some of the neodymium so that they can work on regular or concierge doors. The design is like the laminated ones, just with stronger magnets.

They are all nice! If you don’t need the neodymium I would go with the magnetic sheet but that is just my preference.

I will second GraysonTagsandMore on Etsy. Always do the full magnetic sheet, otherwise it’s just laminated plastic with magnets on the back.

Do you have templates to making them yourself?

Nope! I just play around in Canva and with images I find online. I sometimes buy digital image packages from Etsy sellers to get what I want.

I've always made my own. I am not that tech savvy and have no template. I just look for clip art or images on google and print. I have added names just by saving the image to my laptop and then editing in the text.
I usually print on a cheap card stock or thicker paper and then laminate and add a magnet. I save any advertising magnets we get in the mail etc and cut them up to use on the back. I've also bought the rolled magnet tape. I have never used the magnetic paper though I know a lot of people do.

I ordered from CruiseDesignsBB and from DisneyDoorFantasy. I was very happy with the magnets from both. They were magnetic sheets, not laminated.
