Cruise DVC Meet-and-Greet

We're heading out on DCL in a few months and have seen/heard of various DVC gatherings on board, including the first afternoon before we even leave the port. Do we just show up for that sort of thing or is there a need to pre-register. I know there are all sorts of pre-arranged meet-and-greets originating on these threads for various purposes, so just making sure we don't need to sign up ahead of time for something DVC-related.

There is a Member Celebration that's typically held on embarkation day. We normally receive a call from DVC about 2 week prior to sail date with the time/location of the Member Celebration. If you don't get a call, check the Personal Navigator that's available in the terminal and on-board near guest relations.

DD and I sail on Sunday. Pete from DVC called this previous Sunday and let us know they would have a gift for us at their station in the terminal (Miami) and the Member gathering would be the second day of the cruise, 9 am (sea day). We're looking forward to both! First cruise since joining DVC!

Same for us. So I just wanted to make sure we dod't miss something. Prior Navigators for our itinerary seem to have an initial gathering around 2:30 before we even hit the muster drill. Assuming it will be the same for us.

We're 2 for 2 just showing up on the embarkation one before set sail. It's in the navigator, and I think our check in gut told us at least once too.

For the Wonder out of Miami, the member meet and greet was on the first sea day. We sailed Jan 4th!

Has anyone gotten the DVC Mickey Pirate Pin on a cruise recently? We did not!

Not only welcome, but encouraged.

The first meeting on embarkation is more directed at current owners. But any chance they can get to sell the magic, they're not going to turn away.

So I'm new to the DVC world. My parents bought in a few months ago and I have a DVC card as my parents put my siblings and I on the contract. Am I able to attend the member gathering?
