Cruise Documents for Changed Itineraries

However, there was one other ship I recall seeing in port with us ...an MSC ship,

There are 4 ships tendering the day we are going to be there. Cruise calendar says 16,000 or more passengers in port that day. I was hoping you were going to tell me that it was the same for you and that it wasn't bad. But, I'm thinking that number of people is a little overwhelming for that port.

3 WC in one year! I can't imagine. I much prefer the EC or SC.

I have missed CC a few times myself, also. I just hope that doesn't happen this year, since I'm not happy with the other port stops this trip.

I have one more questions for you. Did your "Onboard Fun" reservations transfer correctly? With one less sea day, how did that pan out for you?

I still think that even with 4 ships tendering in GC it will be fine. The most important thing I learned in April (last time I tendered in GC) was to make sure you get in the DISNEY FANTASY line when tendering back to the ship. :)
I went into port by myself to get a Pandora charm and when I got back I lined up with ALL the folks from the various Carnival ships which wound around the port inside area quite a bit. There was NO ONE in line to get back on the Fantasy and due to MY error of not paying attention to clearly marked signs ( I think it was my excitement about getting a Pandora charm in GC) lol , I was waiting in the crazy long Carnival line. :)
Yes, we booked EC so we could visit St. Thomas again, but as we all know, Irma screwed that up. I definitely would NOT have booked WC again, but went with the flow and love sailing anywhere really.

My "Onboard Fun" reservations were exactly as I made them. No issues there. I heard from others that they had to make a decision between doing an excursion at a certain time vs doing a meet and greet that was scheduled now for a port day instead of a sea day though.
For example, they had a meet and greet at 11:30 AM but wanted to do an excursion at 11:00. So they had to see if it could switch to another time or do another excursion.

Oh no! About that line, that sounds like something I would do too! In fact, I did do it one time that would have been very detrimental in several ways. We were in Alaska and flying home on a Saturday. When we got to the Anchorage airport, there were huge lines of people inside and outside the terminal. I told my husband to just park the car, keep the luggage and not return the car while I checked it out. So I approach someone in the back of this line who tells me that no flights are getting out because of a volcano erupting off the coast. I'm now panicking and starting to flip out. I call the airline and they tell me we couldn't get out of town before Thursday. After about 15-20 minutes more, my very smart high school graduate daughter says, "Hey, Mom. Shouldn't we be in the first class line?". Omg, I hadn't even thought of that since we don't normally fly first class. So when I get in that line, there's 3 people in front of us and I'm close enough to hear that our flight is the only one getting out of the Anchorage airport and we have only 30 minutes to make it. Needless to say we made it at the very last minute. So, if we get off the ship, I will be on the lookout for the Fantasy sign. Thanks for the heads up!

I was afraid the Meet & Greets were going to be a problem. I only have one that is really important, since I'm bringing my 5 year old granddaughter, If we don't get Frozen, this trip is really gonig to be a bust.

I appreciate all of you information!

Disney offers discounts when sales are down. If sales are down for a given time period, they will offer discounts to get people into the rooms. The discount may be in the form of opening up IGT/OGT/VGT rooms rather than running a special, but Disney likes to fill as many rooms as possible.

First of all, I would have passed out on the spot in your situation. lol Talk about heart rate spiking. :)

IF something happens to the Frozen meet and greet, talk to GS and I have no doubt they will do whatever they can to help you out. I totally understand your anxiety, but I also know Disney is not going to want to ever disappoint their Anna/Elsa 5 year old fans.
Have a great cruise!
