Cruise Director Rick

We didn't see Cruise Director Rick on our Nov 15th Magic sailing. We finally got a straight answer and found out that he has left DCL for Celebrity. We are trying to find out which ship he's on (so we can sail with him again).

oh wow..what a bummer. I really thought he did a good job as Cruise Director and my daughter thought he looked like Tim Allen!

We've had Jim and Jackie on the Magic....never met Rick.....

Hi Steve, no more Rick? I liked him, we had him on Wonder and Magic cruises. Wonder if they re-did the "on the ship off the ship on the ship off the ship" segment they show on the Disney cruise buses. He was cute. Say Hi to Ashley for us.

I posted over on Cruisecritic board and he is on vacation right now but in January he will start working on the Galaxy. Kathy

I don't want to start a debate, but we still love Rick and would sail with him any day. We've sailed with Rick three times and loved his demeanor.

We've had Jim, Jacqui and Rick and I would say that I liked Rick the best of all of them. However I would sail again with Jim or Jacqui any day - they are great too!

For those who never met or knew CD Rick. If I remember correctly he is in the DCL bus video cruisers watch when traveling to the port. He has an excellent announcer voice. I have been on a grand total of 13 cruises, with 5 of those on the Magic, and Rick is the only CD I remember. It must be because of that great announcer voice and he always came off as being sincere in what he said. Of course then there is the most famous of CD's from the late 70's and 80's, Julie McCoy from the Love Boat Kathy
