We'll be staying at Pop Century for the night before our Disney Magic cruise. I heard somewhere that you can check-in at the resort for the cruise. Is this true? Is it true only for land/sea guests or would a 1-night stay also qualify you for this benefit? If it is true, all I need now is somebody to pack for me (and it won't be my DH -- he packed himself two left shoes once:rolleyes: )

Hi there! You may want to post this on the cruise board and I am sure you'll get more qualified information, but from what I know if you have purchased DCL transfers from WDW to the port you need to get yourself to one of the resorts that has check in. I don't think Pop Century is one of them.

We bought our transfers with our cruise and will need to get from CSR to the AKL where we are picking up the cruise line bus transfer to the port.

I don't know how you are getting to the port, but I don't think you can check in at a WDW resort and then go to the port yourself. Hope you find your answer! The cruise board folks will know for sure.

To check in for the cruise portion at a WDW hotel you would have to be on a land and sea packages as the hotel and cruise are linked together in that situation. When you are on a land and sea package, your ID card from the hotel is also your ID card on the cruise ship, everything uploads to the ship the night prior to departure. If you are not booked on a land and sea package you can still use the bus transfers as mentioned above but you will have to check in at the port, the WDW hotels will not be able to do that for you prior to arriving!

you only check in at the resort, if you're on a land/sea package
