Cruise Cancellation

Hi everyone! I just recently booked a cruise on the website, but later decided to use Dreams Unlimited for the same cruise. I e-mailed Disney for cancelling the first booking and 2 weeks ago got an e-mail from them confirming my request. However, the reservation is still showing on my Disney profile. I get that the refund may take a while to be processed, but it seems strange that after 2 weeks the reservation still appears valid.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the cancellation to be processed? I did e-mail Disney last week to confirm, but still no response.

Thanks!

I cancelled a cruise months ago and it still appears on my reservations page even though I've talked to DCL about it and they've confirmed that it's cancelled. They said it's a glitch due to the recent website "upgrade".

I had Dreams Unlimited cancel one about two weeks ago for me and book a different cruise with the money from the first cruise. They did that and I can still see the cruise that was cancelled and I can’t imagine they booked my new one without first getting the money from the cancelled one.

I’m over 30 days now waiting on 3 refunds from 3 canceled cruises. Not too happy about this. My TA did say that refunds were taking up to 30 days because there are a lot of cancellations. Guess I’ll contact her again. Anyone else still waiting. The last time I got refunded about 3 months ago it took about 7 days.

Yup same. Mine was cancelled and refunded already. Its still showing in My Reservations and they told me the same thing when I emailed asking them to remove it.

Yeah it's giving me a minor heart attack because I have the email that the cruise was cancelled, but we booked a different room on the same cruise and its' showing as 1 of 2. And we are going to try to book activities in a few days so...yay?

Just double check that you're in the correct reservation before you start check in. (It's really annoying that they can't just remove cancelled cruises...but then everything related to Disney IT is annoying.)
