Cruise 3.0

I'm not going to put words in anyone's mouth, but it was mentioned during a smoke break that DCL had already approached about chartering an entire ship. This was during the first one, so PCC2.0 was just a beginning to live at that point, let alone there being a third one.

Honestly, this is way too far out for me to even begin thinking about, but if/when it happens a good asumption would be that we'll be there.

hmm- something that's never been done before. How about an inaugural sailing on one of the new ships?

I mentioned chartering the ship during chat. I know DVC has done this before but I'm not sure if it has been chartered to any groups that are not part of Disney.

It really doesn't matter, I will be going. :rotfl:

I'm going. Wouldn't miss floating around the Caribbean, Atlantic, Pacific, or Arctic oceans (or whatever body of water) with hundreds of my friends!

Don't know where its going, don't know when its going (other than 2010), and don't care!!!

I"m going!!!

I'm with you guys! I'll be there no matter when, where, or how long the cruise is!!! :cool1:

I will most likely go unless the date falls at a bad time work wise. Like PC1.0 fell during Commencement Season and I couldn't take off. I am definite on PC2.0 already gave my Vacation Notice that I will be taking off the Month of December 2010 (3 weeks Vac before our 1 week holiday), though they said it was too early to approve it.:rotfl:

I have no doubt that Val & I will be aboard. :sail:

Count me in on this one.
I didn't get to go on the first but will be on the second and definitely the third as well. :)

A sailing of one of the new ships sounds good. Possibly not in 2011, though. Think about it. We had a 16 month lead time on Cruise 1.0, 18 months on 2.0. We could be looking at Spring 2012. To be honest, I'm not sure I want to be on an initial sailing. I'd rather be on a ship after the kinks have been worked out. Remember what happened to Kevin on the Magic when he sailed right after dry dock. I will probably be there on 3.0 as long as it isn't in 2011. I plan to be on the the PC repo cruise of the Wonder. That is 2 weeks of vacation time. I won't have more to spare that year. Unless of course 3.0 is the repo cruise.

I am sure I will be there. I have a couple theories I cooked up since last night.

1) A whole section of the ship for us so all the rooms would be together.

2) A whole dining room to ourselves.

I am sure these are not even close, but I had fun thinking about it.

Kim, my delicate flower, does this mean you might not be on 3.0 if it is in 2011 unless it is a repo???

I am planning on being there for 3.0 as well - hopefully the dates work out so that I can....

I am afraid so, Stacy. I have been trying do a repo cruise ever since my first cruise. It was a 10 day cruise and I loved the sea days, so I knew a repo was for me. 14 days of mostly relaxing on board. I can't wait.

I just wish it could be when those of us that are teachers or have kids in school could go. I understand why but still I can wish.

With PCC 1 and 2 we have looked for the very lowest priced sailing availabe.

Do you think we would go from the lowest priced sailing available to a $10,000cruise?;)

All he said was that it would be something that has never been done before.

That's it.

Maybe it will be free - that's certainly something that has never been done before.:rotfl:

We almost had the whole dining room to ourselves on this cruise.

Theories:

1) Entire deck to ourselves
2) All meals in Palo
3) Podcast crew = Bridge crew
4) Campout on Castaway Cay

Just a few thoughts (a bit outlandish...) that haven't been done before.

Well I know I am screaming in the wind but if it is at all possible to go when teachers can go....I would be eternally grateful......

We would LOVE to go!!!! (as I am sure a few other teachers would be as well!)

Another plea for us teachers! My career is putting a serious cramp on my Disney habit! I can't go to Food and Wine or any off-season for that matter or experience PCC 1.0 or 2.0. Where's my WWWAAAAHHHHHmmbulance????

Maybe it'll be a European cruise when they send a ship this way for good :confused3

It's gonna be something big whatever - these guys just seem to be able to make anything happen for us lucky folks :goodvibes

Here's something that's never been done before:

My family will be there!!! (I sooooooooo hope we can someday go on a Disney Cruise and going with all of you would be a bonus!!!)

:goodvibes
