Good Morning, Eric - Or is it afternoon there? I must be a mindreader. I sent an email to the new address last night! Rich will send one tonight too. Gotta go to work now! :(

Now it's afternoon :D I'm having my 10-minute coffee-break now and check my mail. We're 6 hours (And about 1492 years ;) ) ahead of you. Just add 6 hours to your time and you've got ours. This is for EST, for Shari in Idaho (I assume that ID is in Mountain time) it's another two hours to add.

Yep! I just checked the board and e-mailed you as requested, at what was probably a bit after 4 p.m. your time. :smooth: Thanks Viking and RellingTwin! :bounce:

Geez, all that vacation time and coffee breaks too?? Next thing you know you'll be getting paid lunches. my info is in the e-mail.

Nope,
no paid lunches :( Only free water in American-style 5-gallon-dispensers and the coffee has to be paid for by the employees

Just had a short look at the boards and found our thread on Page 2 :smooth:

PAGE THREEEEEEEE

Thanx for the nice link, Mike. We had a look at the streaming cam during our breakfast break and had a good laugh, when we suddenly saw a guy cleaning the empty bar with a blower - A device usually used to remove fallen leaves ;)

This weekend I will definitely take the time to update the list!! I have to take home Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA agin, but it should work out. So if you have any additional info, please send it until Saturday night (EST).

In order to get the onboard credit -- do I need to get a new Disney club card for the cruise, or does it just need to be valid when I book?

Did you mean to post this on our Halloween Wonder thread? The Disney Club onboard credit will not be in effect for the 2003 Cruisetoberfest - unless they announce something in the future about a credit then. But for our Halloween Wonder cruise, you need a valid DC card in your name linked to your stateroom ressie, then you'll get the $50 onboard credit.

Hi Everyone!

Just came across this thread and decided to post. We are also booked for the Oct 11/03 cruise. It's our first Disney cruise and we are really looking forward to it. We, being myself (who will be 37 at the time of the cruise -- love having a Dec BD) and my DBF (who will turn 53 a week after the cruise). We are cruising and then spending a week at CBR.

Was actually surprised to see a post for the cruise b/c it's so long away. Counting the days and looking forward to it.

Hi cdnmickeylover,

welcome aboard!!! We're especially happy to meet someone from Canada, because now we're not the only Non-US-citizens in our group (Sorry, Folks ;) ) If you want to appear on our evergrowing cruise-list and receive frequent updates, just use the link in my signature to mail your party's info to me.

Greetings from Frankfurt/Germany

Hi cdnmickeylover,

sometimes I'm a bit slow  , but I just registered that you're from Toronto: Did you know that our homecities are connected by an official City-Friendship? I just checked it out on Frankfurt's website. Toronto and Frankfurt are officially befriended since 1989.
One more reason I'm looking forward to meeting you!!

Hey, everybody!

I am alikat99's DH (heh I am using the lingo already!)

Well, we almost deserted you guys. We have a wedding to go to next spring in the Bahamas, so when the SS Member Cruise came out, we thought, "That would be fun to cruise to the Bahamas just before the wedding!" We hoped for a discount - then we figured we'd opt for a larger room than we had planned for the Cruisetoberfest. Even if it was normal price, we would have considered it. But when it came out for *more* than normal prices and the only thing extra was an extra day on Castaway Cay (as opposed to another island), we figured we did not see the added benefit. So we kept our original plans for the Cruisetoberfest! Besides, it should be much warmer in October than February. :)

Of course, if we win the $20 million tonight in the FL lottery, we will be going on both!:p

Viking, are you going to be bringing any *good* beer? I miss the Weiße biers from my trips to Germany. We can get a few over here, but it is nothing like out of the taps in the pubs in Germany!

Hi Chris,
it's a good decision to stay with us, you won't regret it ;)
As we intend to travel the Eastcoast before the cruise for about three weeks, bee would be to bulky to carry with us. We will bring some schnaps - It has a better booze-to-weight-ratio :p
Anyway, I'm not what you would call a beer connaisseur: Last night we were in Mexican/Argentinian joint in Frankfurt and I had some Millers and a Salitos (Tequila&Lemon beer) and no German beer to wash down my enchiladas - to be precise: Nobody at our table had any German beer, it's very hip to drink imported stuff.
And the headache next morning is the same - LOL

HAH! That makes sense, you want our beer, we want your beer. That's OK. I forgot (after 17 pages of messages) that you mentioned before about bringing schnapps. I used to keep schnapps in my refridgerator in college. At the time, my favorite were DeKuyper Peachtree and DeKuyper Bluesberry schnapps. I also really like Goldschlager (sp?). Most of my friends like peppermint schnapps, but I am not fond of peppermint overall. To each his own - a bar I worked for once had 50 flavors of schnapps at the schnapps station!

Cruis sounds like it will be fun!

I'm gonna bring some apple-schnaps - It has lots of vitamins :p

Eric if it tastes good it is bad for you:bounce: Lurker leaving. Mike

Mike,
that's one of the most horrible truths: Everything that is fun or tastes fine is either illegal, unhealthy or amoralic

To everyone:
List No 2 is in your mailboxes!!

I feel like I haven't been here in forever!

Eric - Ha! We talked about papa confusing people. We didn't know that YOU were the master of confusion.
...and so can Tulirose, our second listkeeper..... !!!???!!! .....

Rellingtwin - not Tulirose - is the second-in-command regarding the list. (Didn't we have some sort of confusion between Mary and Myself on last year's cruise thread too???)
