Happy Anniversary Art & Cathy!!!!

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I just hope and pray that someone honest picked up our camera and turned it in.

I just got a call from Eric. Him and Anja are having a good time here in FL, and we're meeting tonight at 6pm at a local mall. Can't wait to meet another Cruisetoberfester!!!

I got my t-shirts done, and I received my Disney Visa Reward dollars yesterday in the mail. More $$$ we can spend for free!!! Unfortunately, I can't pack up any shorts yet, because it's still pretty warm here (80s), but I'll wash/pack my dinner clothes soon. I can probably also pack up our swimsuits, since we're going to be so busy in the next 2 weeks, that we won't have time to swim in our pool. Gosh, this is getting more & more real, the closer it gets. We've been planning for over a year, and it's finally almost here!!!

Sam and Mary while I am out today I will pick up a memory stick adapter so that we can transfer your photos to cd. My camera and Cathy's use the compact flash cards instead of memory sticks.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ART AND CATHY!!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon. Mike

Thanks for all the "Happy Anniversaries" ... didn't think I'd ever be the one to say ... dosen't seem like 31 years has passed since we got married.

Amy ... OMG What a bummer about the camera. I can appreciate the fact that the camera loss is one thing but the loss of the pictures is more devastating. I'm sure you family will be quick to help you out with prints they took.

I was off of work Friday and Monday and it was GREAT. De-stressed a little and actually got 90% packed. All that's left is the
toiletries and incidentals ... like the camera, bincoulars, radio/CD,
Sail-Away Goodies. Tomorrow night I'm going to go back into the suitcases and try and lessen the number of shirts I'm taking cause I know I packed too many!

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc How Cool ... Hubby just called me at work to wish me Happy Anniversary! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Guess that's why we made it so long ... it's really all in the little things!

Gotta run if I want to get some of this p**p off of my desk before I go.

PS ... Kathy with @ K ... should I pack some Green/Honey Iced Tea for us to enjoy while we sail?

Cathy the little woman is sound asleep as she worked last night. I will ask her about the tea when she wakes up.

Mary and Sam I am on my way to circuit city to pick up the memory stick reader. Just bring a cd rw that is the reusable so that we can add pictures each day or if you have enough memory sticks bring just a cd-r. That is the cd that you can only use one time so when we burn photos to the cd-r you cannot add more pictures to that cd. At the end of the cruise we will put the photos on a cd-r for you to take home.

Still have to do our tee shirts with the logos. Mike

Mike...please let us know what we owe you for the memory stick reader and we can give it to you when we see you!! Also, could you ask Stacey or your darling bride what size Katie is in...we saw some really cute outfits and if I get a chance this weekend, we will go a pick one up...I always buy a little bigger anyway so she can grow into it!!

Sam said he got your email and thank you for the favor!! Mary Jo

Hi guys,
It just occured to me that we have Alice in Wonderland dresses in our store for $9.99 off from $34.99! I don't know why it didn't occur to me before... The store is the Disney Worldport in the Pointe Orlando mall on I Drive. That's also where I can give you the pins. If you are looking for a great dress for formal night, they are soooo cute! We have them in small, extra small and a few in extra extra small.
have a great day! Renae:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Don't you northern people worry about being cold in FL. It's not known as the "Sunshine State" for no reason. And I can prove it, if you want to take a look at my power bills!;)
I for one will NOT be sad when this is all over. I have turned a week long trip into a year of great memories, meeting people from all over the country, and the world. I intend on making this a trip I will cherish forever! As of right now DH and I are not planning on cruiseing again. We may do a vacation or two at Disney World in the next few years, but we have a few other priorities at the moment. I hope to keep in touch with as many of you as possible.
The fun begins in just 10 days! And I am, and have been, enjoying every minute of it.
Thank you one and all! And see you...
Sooner, not later. Ave'

Hey folks,

An update from Minnesota as we close in on the big date!!!

Eric will be happy to know the the Minnesota vikings are 4-0 !! I think it is fair to say that everyone can expect to see alot of PURPLE on the cruise and possible some other VIking stuff.

The Twins just beat New York Yankess in game one YOohooo!!

Christy and I are slow packers but we are beginning to sort things to beging the "The big Pack".

Thanks for the tip lists and other ideas, every little bit helps.

We are so thankful to all who have helped make this such an exciting cruise....the next 8 days are going to be a killer!!

See you soon (hoping some stay up late Friday night at the Radison as we will arrive after 10:30)

Doug

Hi cruisers!
I totally agree with the year of memories idea. We've been planning this for so long, and the anticipation is so high that it seems like we have already met you and have become friends. I already have some stuff scrapbooked from planning, ie, lists and more lists, insurance and booking confirmations, so I will spend the next year scrapping and remembering all of this!
How much film are those of you with 35mm cameras taking? I will have 3 people with cameras, so I'm thinking about 12 rolls plus 2 underwater disposables. They get great photos!
36 hours till Ben is home, then the big countdown for the Magic begins in earnest! Hooray!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Renae

Mike, how many CD should I bring? My memory stick is 64mb. I have not used the camera that much.

Amy so sorry you lost the pictures. I hope you get a nice surprise and someone turns it in.

Happy Aniversary Cathy and Art!!

Renae, I am bringing 4 rolls of regular film, plus 2 underwater cameras, plus my digital.Enjoy your reunion with Ben. Did you ever say what he was doing in Brazil?

Doug, we will be up late at the Raddison. We should be out by the pool.I sent you a PM...did you get it?

Amy, we need a full report of your "mini" meet with Eric and Anja!

Ave, I feel sorry for people who can only get a weeks worth of fun out of a weeks vacation! You are RIGHT! I've had countless hours of enjoyment planning and meeting everyone!

Fiona..My co-workers feel the same way

Waterproof camera... I didn't think about that for the snorkeling trip and all. I always use my digital now because I rarely get to my scrapbooking and always scan my pics anyway. However, I remember that when we were in Mexico last year, those disposable, waterproof cameras really came in handy when kayaking and boogie-boarding and all. OK, one more thing to add to my list....

Rellingtwin,
Ben has been serving as a missionary for our church for the last 2 years. He's been working hard and we get to email once a week, so today I got a last email from him saying he was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, but he had to take time to tell me he loved me. Now do you know why I'm so happy to see him? What a guy!
As for the underwater cameras, Tammy, they are indespensable!
I'm bringing a scrapbook page of my CC pictures last time so you can see what to do with fish pics. I did just the cheap fuji ones from Walmart and they are great! The photos are really clear and the color is amazing. I would hate to leave home without those, I'll tell you, I'd leave home without a swimsuit first! At least I can swim with shorts, but I can't take underwater pics with a regular camera!
BTW, I did talk to DCL this morning and I was told that we should be ok if we put our scissors in a checked bag. I emailed them too, but haven't heard back yet. I did the email so that if I get some flak at the port, I can show them the official letter. It never hurts to have some clout.
See you real soon, Renae:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Happy Anniversary. Here's to the next 31 happy years for the two of you.

Can't believe it was two years since Cruisetoberfest I. Looking forward to seeing all our friends from that cruise and meeting the new ones joining us for Cruisetoberfest II.

Dave & Ellen

Well, still no news about the camera. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

We just got back from our mini-meet with Eric & Anja. We had a very good time. We met at the local mall and went to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. Eric brought Emily an inflatable airplane to play with and she loved it. Eric and Chris had a blast talking about tons of different things from Germany, German liquor, cars, planes, etc. You name it, they probably talked about it. It was really great to meet them. It makes me even more excited to meet the rest of you!!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ART AND CATHY

I'm not going to bring anything to scrapbook, however if you are going to do a crop I would love to come down and chat while you crop and see some of your pages. My friend who got me into scrapbooking lives only a few blocks from my house and she is a creative memories consultant. I do the same thing when she has a crop party, I just come to it to talk and look at everyone's pages to get ideas. I have my scrapbook corner in our house with everything in one location and all set up so it is to much work to pack things up to go to a crop. So just let me know when you are meeting and will come to look and chat.

I have my waterproof camera. I was impressed how nice the pictures came out on our last trip. I still need to buy film. I will probably only take 4 rolls.

Made kennel appointments for the dogs. The get to go this weekend for 2 days, home for 4 days and then back for another 10 days. They won't be happy.

I do need to clean some before we leave. Why is it that we always feel a need to clean before a trip. Last year, I even shampooed the carpet.

It is real busy at work again, so the next 9 working days will fly by.

I to will have so many memories from this cruise. I know that last year, it was so special to meet everyone and this group is even larger. It will be like cruising with one large and happy family. It has been fun getting to know everyone and so anxious to meet everyone on 10/11.

Doug--- We won't be getting to the Radisson until late also. Our flight time has been changed so will be around 11pm or later. One of the doctors at work who is from Minnesota said that there are only 2 season there winter(cold and snow) and summer (hot and humid). So I guess your weather is now into the winter mode. Pa is almost getting like that. Since summer just left and now we have the heat on.

Need to go work on more hockey stuff. Have one more hockey meeting on Thursday. I already told them I am not coming next Thursday to that meeting. This organization seems to have a meeting once a week.

Nancy

Nancy, I do the same thing cleaning the house. I HATE to come home to a messy house! Bad enough to have a ton of laundry to do.

Amy, thanks for the mini meet report. Eric and Anja are really special people!

One of the doctors I work with has been asking me about DCL. Until last week I thought he was just being polite, but he asked me to get him some infomation. He and his wife have 2 little girls and they LOVE all things Disney. So today I gave him a set of navigators from last year, and an excurtion book. The only kids navigator I had was for the 10-12 year old group, so he asked if I could get him the one for the his DDs age group.

Dave and Ellen, looking forward to seeing you both again!

OK...one more day is done. Tomorrow is the day I get to flip the calender to OCTOBER!!!! As I sat in traffic on the way home and watched yet another fool block the intersection so no one could get pasted him, I just kept thinking.....in two weeks I will be at the sail-a-way party, pulling away from Grand Cayman, with a cool drink in my hand, music in my ears and a warm breeze in my hair!!!

Has anyone heard the country western song that goes...."Give me 2 Pina coladas, 1 for each hand"

I finally set up Tony an account on the board so I hope he'll post eventually and get to know you folks. He's a really special kid!

One quick post before I head to bed. Just got home from IV therapy 3 hour class. Long day.

Well tomorrow is OCTOBER!!!!! Can't believe it!!!!

Hope, had to tell DD about your "no you can't have that pack of gum" story. Today was her 13th birthday. I wished her Happy Birthday this morning, but was not able to have dinner with the family because of my class. By the time I got out of class, and got to the store to buy her BD cake, the bakery was closed. So no "Happy Birthday Mary" written on the cake. Then, when we went to put candles on the cake we only had 11 candles! I felt like such a bad mother. How could I not have enough candles for her cake! I was on my way back out the door to buy candles when she stopped me. I was crying. I have been so busy with work, school, and planning this trip, that I have let everything else slide.
But I WILL make it up to her on the cruise.

Goodnight all, see you in October.

Sooner, not later, Ave'
