:Pinkbounc It's 8 a.m. and all four kids are still sleeping! :bounce: so I thought I'd start filling out my forms.

Silly question...what is the "city where you boarded"? I put Port Canaveral but then thought, is that really a city? Help Me!

I put Port Canaveral too. I can't remember what I put last time. Hope this is right.

I put Port Canaveral also!!

Lisa, where did you say you were staying the night before??

Hope

Lisa, where did you say you were staying the night before??

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Family Suites in Orlando for two nights (9th and 10th). We will be going to Sea World on Friday 10th so thought it would be better to stay close to that instead of the Radisson.

Oh, I was hoping that Lauren & my Megan could meet before we get on the ship. They will be in the 8 & 9 club together. We will have to introduce them in the line at the port!!

Definitely!! Lauren is Ms. Sociable and would love to have some friends. That's great that they're the same age so they'll be in the club together. We *plan* on getting to the port around 10:30 a.m. and I'm sure the port will be full of a bunch of DISers!! :D

I can't believe it's almost here! :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Hi Everyone,

Well it is official, the cruise is on for us now, Fed-Ex just arrived to pick up the suitcase that we are shipping directly to the hotel
( the HEAVY suitcase) which contains the treats for everyone for the sail away parties and all that kind of junk you bring down and then do not bring home...

Bye again, Bettemom & Kim

Sue Ellen,

It's too bad we aren't going to get to see the "Golden Mickey's" Musical. I was so looking forward to it. Who knows, they might suprise us. Maybe if we wish upon a star... .

Tina

bettemom,

I hate when we get to the airport and we have a bag that is over 40 lbs. Great idea about shipping them to the hotel. I started putting out my clothes and have the suitcases out. Hubby thinks I'm crazy. He's a last minute kind of guy, but then he'll have me running around doing laundry and ironing the last minute for him. I'll have to get him motivated to put his clothes aside this week.

Anyone check what the weather temps are averaging in Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel or Bahamas?

What's this 45 degree stuff? Is that in Centigrade? :p

In all seriousness, that's cold, we're still in the 70's in the morning, 80's by mid morning. But it's suppose to deluge the next few days, need a canoe to get to work.

I'm glad we don't have to fly, the whole weight limit thing stinks. If anyone needs somewhere to ship stuff, let me know. I can give it to you prior to we go to the terminal if possible.

OK, one more day closer.

Went to Wal-mart and got some travel size stuff. Lightens my load a bit more. Good thing, since I've got scrapbooking stuff to pack now. Went through it all last night and man, have I got a bunch of stuff! Glad I lightened that up a bit too.

Didn't get Tony packing yet, but I'm not going to bug him until next weekend. That should be plenty of time for him.

I've got a terrible headache this morning. Don't know where it came from but I need caffeine...

Hey everyone!! I'm back from my brother's wedding in Chicago. Boy, you guys were busy. I had a ton to read!!!

First off, overall the trip was wonderful. The weather was a little cold for my FL blood, but it was nice to have a change. Emily walked down the aisle with her flowers beautifully, but of course, she had no desire to stay quiet in church, so she was wisked out of the sanctuary by my MIL. Now, my baby brother is off to Aruba with his new wife. I almost cried a few times, but I did hold up until Saturday night (the wedding was Friday) when we were leaving to go back to the hotel. My brother starting crying that he was going to miss us when we left, and I lost it. My brother and I have a very close relationship, so when he moved back to Chicago after living so close to me for 5 years, it was a sad day for us!! But, we'll have lots of reasons to head back home to Chicago now.

My family and friends were very excited when we told them of our upcoming arrival. And, the biggest shock of all came when my best friend from high school told me that she is also pregnant and due the day after me. We both just couldn't believe it!!! We knew that we were both going to try to get pregnant, but who would have guessed that were were going to be due only 1 day apart. We'll have a blast chatting about all of this, but Chris is worried about our long-distance bill. ;) ;)

But, our trip ended with tons of things going wrong!! First off, we got off the plane in Tampa and our stroller (which was gate checked) was not there. And, neither were the other 2 strollers on our flight. They forgot to put them on the plane. Then, we realized that we couldn't find our digital camera. We couldn't remember if we picked it up from security in Chicago, or if we did, but left it in the bottom of the stroller when we gate-checked it. Well, when we did get our stroller back late last night, no camera. I've made calls to United and O'hare, so keep your fingers crossed for us. Unfortunately, if it's not found, then we won't be able to wait for insurance, because the cruise is so close. And, I lost all of the pics from my brother's wedding. :( :( :(

And, to top it off, Emily pee'd on Chris, while he was holding her. We lost our car at the airport (wrong level), we ended up in a lane at the airport that some guy was taking forever to pay, we went to the wrong terminal to pick up our family with all of our luggage, and the terminals were all backed up, so it took forever to get back to our family. Needless to say, last night was a nightmare!!!

But, besides the camera being gone, the trip was a great time. And now, I get to start laundry, and packing for the cruise.

JenKatt.........I'm in Alabama and yes that was 45 degrees F. It was so cold this AM. My oldest DD has outgrown all of her jeans. Guess what I will be doing tonight? Running around our small town looking for jeans for her! Didn't want to buy things like that before we cruise.

Well, I just ate the worlds largest burger.......think I need to lay down!!

Hope:rolleyes:
