Cruise 10/11/2003 Part 2

Good Morning everyone,

I was up late last night getting the last of the pins done. All 132 of them! I am now out of pins so I guess I'm finally done now too.

The only problem I have is how do I get them to Florida? That bag must weigh about 20 pounds! I didn't think it would be that bad. I'm thinking of calling the hotel that we're staying at in Orlando to see if I can send them there so I don't have to try to pack them. Has anyone ever sent something to themselves at a hotel before they got there? Another alternative is that I pack them in a separate carry on bag. I can then use that bag for souveniers. That sounds like a plan to me.

Now that the pins are done, I can start packing

Renee',we almost always send at least one package or suitcase ahead to the hotel....And this trip is non eception...I say "go for it !"

The airlines give you enough problems as it is.....

Good Morning to All!

It's going to be a great day...Andrew (the new grandbaby) is coming home, I get to sleep in my own bed tonight (been at my DD house watching DGS #2) and it's one more day closer to the cruise!!!

For Piglet33......thanks for all your work on the pins, I'm not sure if I got my names in on time, but regardless, that is very nice of you make all of them.

YEA......one more work week done!! I am so excited.

I am home all day today......I am suppose to clean the house. I don't want too! I hate cleaning. I want to crawl back into bed. The dd's are at school and I am all alone !!

Hope everyone has a great FRIDAY!! I can't believe that in two weeks we will be meeting at the Radisson! What was our countdown clock at when this thread first started???

My daughter's cycle break has officially begun! Instead of being excited about her three week vacation, she's sad because she's going to miss her friends. She needs to get excited about going to see Mickey! (Sometimes I think Mike and I are more excited than the kids.) I'm hoping she'll be able to help me out with the kids and stuff while she's off so I can finally get some more packing done. Happy Friday everyone!!

Cathy, Thank you so much for the word puzzles. However, I must be doing something wrong. Both puzzles come out as one single vertical line down the page!!!


Captain Marvin still never got back to me but Capt. Bryan did immediately. Will be booking with Capt B. before the weekend is over.

Hi tevagirl - Yes I did get your names and made pins for you and Joe. I didn't have the names for the boys so I couldn't make pins for them.

Kathy with a K!! I do understand what you are saying about Cats!! I have a beautiful long haired cat. He is five years old. We moved into a new house and we have hardwood floors downstairs. The cat sheds really bad. I really wanted to find a good home for him. People were awful when I asked around. My DH hates hair flying around the house. To be honest, I do too! He is an indoor cat. I struggled with what to do with him while we are gone for 10 days!! I did something that most people think is cruel........we had him shaved. That way, I don't have hairballs and flying hair when we get home! Actually, I like him better this way.

Well, I have sat down long enough........I must go finish cleaning!

For those of us that are going to SeaWorld, here are the dates for Shamu's Spooktacular in case anyone is interested.
Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26.

I'm excited since we're going to SeaWorld on the 18th right from the ship. Haley gets to go to MNSSHP 2 times and now to Shamu's Spooktacular. Actually Mommy is more excited than she is since she doesn't understand all this yet, lol.

Wow, I didn't know about this. We're actually going to SeaWorld on the 9th; before the cruise and spending the day at Typhoon Lagoon on the 10th. I would change plans to do it afterwards (since we'll be there until the 20th) but we really want to catch a day of the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT before we go and that's our plan for the 19th.

However, looks like we have the evening of the 18th. Maybe I SHOULD check into this.... Not sure my 18 yr old would be interested (MNSSHP would definately bore him) but I might.

Jeff, chocolates and champange are wonderful, wish my DH would think about stuff like that.

Busy day at work today. It seemed that everything that could go wrong did. I was planning to leave early but couldn't. My client almost ended up in tears because everything was taking so long. I told her that was ok but I was close to tears too!! Just one of those days. But ITS NOW THE WEEKEND!!!

Going to Buffalo tomorrow for a scouting meeting and then have to start really getting everything ready. We've been out shopping for Jim so that's good. Have to take my formal dress to the dry cleaners though -- it appears that the last time I wore it it didn't last the night clean.

Just wanting for Chris to pack and then we are dropping him off at the armouries as he's away this weekend and next. Not sure if this is good or not as I wanted him to put the lawn furniture away but I guess now we'll have to do it.

Two more weeks and we'll be at the Radisson!

Is the weather going to be nice in Florida???
