I have to say, I just LOVE the way everyone is offering help to one another!
Eric, Isabel may very well be over by Friday. Latest predictions are for it to miss SC.
Ink for the printer is very expensive! Has anyone tried the "refill kit" they sell on TV?

A friend of mine used it - ONCE!!! The ink was cheap, but cleaning up the table, your hands and all the stuff isn't worth it.

I hope you're right about Isabel, Mary.

I have had the same experience with ink refill kits. Sometimes to quote George Hamilton, "cheap is cheap.."

GREAT NEWS!!!

I figured out how to allow attachments in my email. I now have the list!

Viking-Thank you so much for your help!

Dan

Anyone who is still having trouble, I have 6 transfer sheets and I can print The Hunt Logo no problem in full size. I can get them in the mail tomorrow. I can not print the Cruisetoberfest logo. Rellingtwin had to do that for me. Just how silly is that?

Isabel should be history by Friday. And as of right now the rest of the tropics are kind of quite. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Eric, OK OK, you can have Pinky! :jester:

I went back and read some of the first 20 pages or so of this thread. I can't believe we are almost there.

Has anyone ever sailed on either the Magic or the Wonder on it's first trip out of dry dock? If so, do you think we will be able to board eariler? i think I may post this question on the Boards and see what turns up.

Sooner rather than later, Ave'

Gasp! Page 2! How did that happen??!!

Dan, glad you figured it out!

Peter, My DS George wants to do your t-shirts for you and Jen. I will make them this week and get them in the mail on Sat. 1 large and 1 X-large, correct? I'll let you know when they are on the way.

Kim, I've gone though my desk looking for rental car coupons. Sorry, no luck. I'll ask around at work tomorrow. I know someone was just selling the "Entertainment" coupon book not too long ago.

My wife is an avid scrapbook and scrap page crafter. She would like to know if any other scrappers will be on the cruise that she can meet up with.

We live in orlando and both of us work part time for Disney, we would like to meet up with anyone who is comming early to Orlando.

The cruise is comming fast, we are so excited!!!!
:bounce: :Pinkbounc :jester:

I had to rescue us from page 2 just like Mary did earlier.

Waltjr--- Yes I am a scrapbooker. However, I am currently a little behind as I didn't get last years cruise done yet. So I'm sure your wife and I will get to chat.

Kim--- I do have Avis double upgrade coupon that you can have. Just email me your address nlfike@aol.com Wonder if it is better organized since they moved. I'm renting from them also. I found the AARP discounts to be better for me than the coupons in the Entertainment book.

Mary--- Ok, I did a little shopping this weekend. So have new underwear, underwater camera, and bath and body lime coconut shower gel and lotion for the cruise. The sale summer stuff is pretty well picked over. However, I don't really think I need anything. I also bought Dept 56 Halloween houses to put out. I collect the Dept 56 Dickens Village which I put out for the winter. But since they now have Halloween stuff and there was a promotion going on, I couldn't resist. Now to just find the time to put the summer decorations away and get the fall out.

Today was one of my Hockey coaching seminar so one down and only one more to go (Sept 28th). Nothing like being the only female with 100 men. That is my new job as the 4th VP of the High School league, I get to work with all the coaches. I have to register them, make sure they are all certified, and if not get on their case to get it done. Just what every man wants is for some women to be hounding them about getting to the coaching classes. Actually, they have been a nice group to work with so far. For once I didn't have to wait in line for the bathroom when I attended a meeting. Once the clinics are finished, I then can concentrate on getting stuff ready for the cruise.

Today is the last day of the York Fair (the oldest continous State Fair in the US). So Norm and I went out to eat all the junk for one last time. Tomorrow back to watching what I'm eating. I would like to take off 5 pounds before we cruise, so that I can eat those wonderful chocolate chip cookies.

That all for now.

Nancy

Mary--- I forgot that I also bought the tee shirts at Michaels. Now just to get them washed and the logo's on. I did print out the logo awhile ago. Once I resolved all my problems with getting them printed.

Nancy

Forget the chocolate chip cookies Nancy, we have to concentrate on the chocolate soufflé's at Palo's. The warm chocolate with the hole in the middle for the home made vanilla sauce to be poured into. The trips to scoops for the fresh fruit and soft serve ice cream.
Welcome home to Dan and Scott, glad that you guys had nice weather for your cruise.

Eric I just want to join the others in expressing my thanks for all of the hard work and time that you have dedicated to the list, home page and other stuff.

This will be a cruise to remember.

Mike

Nancy, I am SO PROUD of you!!Shopping AND T-shirts!!!

WaltJr..I hope your wife is better at keeping up with her scrapbooking the Nancy! LOL:p

I had my first nightmare about the cruise! I dreamed we boarded with only 1 small suitcase and when I opened it, the only items in it were the kids new snorkel stuff. I told DH I had to get off the ship, go get the car and find a Wal-Mart before we left the port! I woke up with my heart pounding! The funny thing is I am not nearly as stressed this year as i have been the last 2 times.I think it's just the excitment of the trip getting SO close!

Time to get some shut eye!

Ok, so I have been lurking on this board since way before my first Disney Cruise 12/28/02... and we re-booked then for the 10/11 journey. I just wanted to get my family into the "groove". Husband, Husbands parents, Daughter 12 and son 11 will be joining y'all. I, for one, am eager to meet such a fun group!!

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer, welcome to the October 11 sailing. We just booked our cruise a few weeks ago so it's all still new to me. I can't believe it's almost here already. My family (me, DH, DD8, DS4, DS2, DS2) will also be cruising with my parents and my brother.

Going to have a fantastic time!! :bounce:

Welcome Jennifer and family! Glad to have you join us!Keep reading this thread for lots of info. I posted a list of all the DIS meets we are going to have. It's on abpout page 203??maybe 205? Anyway, I'll be posting it again soon for you and a few others who are new to the thread.
If you forward your info to Eric (Viking) he can add you to the lastest "LIST", and then he will forward you a copy. This list has info about all of us (names, ages, kids names and ages, occupations, hometowns, ect.) which we prefer NOT to be posted on a public board. The list is e-mailed only to other 10/11 crusiers who are on it.Just click on the link at the bottom of any of Viking's posts for the e-mail info.

Welcome again!

DH just took our almost brand new HP printer and threw it in the trash!  We have had such bad luck with those darn HP printers, I think it's time to try a different brand. And yes, he is very computer literate so it is definitely broke!

Dan, I'd be happy to send you two of the Avis double upgrade coupons. You can email me your addy at Lisag29@charter.net or send it to me in a Private Message.

Edited: Looks like Renee' and I posted at the same time. I actually have a few of the double upgrades plus some other ones. These are in the 2003 book (not the newest book) and all expire 6/30/04.

HP = Hardly Prints... I have tried them in companies to many times and always thrown them out...

BAD LUCK...

I can understand him: My HP printer works perfectly, but last week I had to buy new ink. The cartridges (A Black and a 3-colour-combo) cost nearly as much as a new printer  that printer cost about $350 three years ago. A comparable HP-printer is now available at €100-150 and I paid €80 for the bl**dy ink

ERIC.... thats the problem most people by a printer with out looking at the ink prices..... I also make sure the ink are all seperate since its cheaper that way.... mainly people with kids will find out when prints that always one colour is empty...

Jeff,
I've got 24 mini-bottles of Apfelkorn (Apple-Schapps, for our American-friends) and a ammo-belt to carry them. Just last week I saw Pfläumchen at a local HL-Markt also packed into a very compact box together with the same belt for €9.95. Check out you local HL or Minimal. They should have it too. If you bring another box we should have enough for the sail-away-party. I assume that not everybody will drink schnapps that early, so 48 bottles should be enough ;)

Ok........... I was wondering what they would think about Mon Cheri and Alsbach Chocos..... Got Plfäumchen... Thanks Eric...

A friend of mine swears by the refill kits..... They seem good but I have never used them....
