Mary Jo,

One of DCL's offices is in Celebration. Not sure how many they have, but I'm sure there are also some at the Port.

How do you like the book? Should we buy it?

Dan

Dan...I think the book is really neat..if you want, I can bring it along on the cruise and you can look at it. I wasn't going to buy it but there are some really neat gossip about the staff and we got Amy Wynn to sign it and hopefully, if any more TS staff come to town, I can get them to autograph it to Sarah!! Amy Wynn by the way, was very nice and down to earth..she would even do individual photographs but we didn't have our camera..didn't realize that there were that many TS fans in our area but the line snaked all around our local mall..think the fact that she took so much time with each fan took longer but was a nice touch!

I believe that this thread has surpassed the cruisetoberfest I thread in it's count now. We still have six months to go too.

On this date five years ago we had tornadoes come though downtown Nashville. They are predicting thunderstorms tonight though none are supposed to be severe.

Glad that you are continuing to do well Nancy. Looking forward to seeing you and Norm along with everyone else in October. Mike

Yeah Mike,

and now it is time to get back to our old posting speed ;)
We have get at least past the 5000-mark before September 20 - Our departure date for The States.
Today we received a letter from our TA annoncing that our flight times for the trip to Orlando via Cincinnatti have been changed, and now we will arrive another 30 minutes earlier: Touchdown at MCO 0614pm :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
This should enable us to arrive at Crystal River before 10pm to get some sleep before our dive lessons begin at 9am in the morning.

Mike,
Gramps says "Hi". We watched "Paint the Wagon" tonight, a funny western-musical starring Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood.
Yawn :-o It's bedtime now, gotta get up early tomorrow, because we have a very early cut-off due to the holidays
See Ya T'morrow

Just stopping in to say HI to everybody.

Mike ... Forgot to tell you ... love the Holstein Catfish's belly! Can't wait to the see the next one finished. BTW how are they going to display them ... is there a bar that gets stuck somewhere to keep them up off of the ground? Are they heavy so a storm won't wreck them? Boy I'm nosey aren't I. Sorry.

Ended up having to bring some work home ... about a foot of medical records to stamp tonite ... at least I can do it while watching TV or sitting on the porch CAUSE TOMORROW IT"S SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT 40' COLDER.

Have a very Mickey Night......

OMG! We have the soundtrack to that...a record album.....you know, an LP record.....33 & 1/3! Before your time Eric and Dan and others! Hehehehe! Love the movie. That's the one where Clint thinks he can sing! But a good song from that movie was "Mariah". You know: They call the wind Ma-RI-AH!!!

Enterprise is coming on now. Time to watch!

Eric - Before I email you my photo for the web page (hope you get time to work on it - thanks for doing this), please reconfirm the picture size for me.

Also, I seem to have some choices in how I send it. I can either have it attached right into the email so you can see it as you read my note, OR I can attach it as a separate attachment that you need to click on to open.

Do you prefer one way over the other or doesn't it matter?

Thanks again for offering to do this. Are you doing a *REAL* web page from scratch or are you going to use one of those free places like imagestation or picturetrail (which is no longer free)???

Oh and BTW - It's "Paint YOUR Wagon". We laughed at "Paint THE Wagon"! hehehe

Eric tell Opa we said hallo and we all wish him continued health and long life.

Cathy the fish are secured to a concrete slab so that they are stable and are not "borrowed"(stolen). We picked up our spring floats at walmart tonight. Kathy's is red and mine is lime green.

Rosemary hope that they are not working you too hard.

Dan that is the way it is when you are salaried. All work and no pay. Mike

Can someone tell me about the exercise facilities onboard? I'm addicted to my morning walks and will likely take full advantage of the spa :-)

They have a nice little gym with the treadmills overlooking the bridge, some free weights and some Nautilus-like machines. Then there is a small aerobics-room where different classes ar given: Step, TBC, low/high-impact, etc.
Finally there is a running track of 400meters (1/4 mile) around the ship.
Anja and I will work out daily, and Rosey and Rich have already promised to join us from time to time, so feel free to train with us.

Rosemary,

the pics should be somewhere in the area of 240x160 or 160x240, at least hi-color or better true-color in JPEG-format.

MaryJo,

I received two error-messages from you mail-account. Did you get the list?

:Pinkbounc Great, another language to try and grasp .. digital camera and pixels! hehehe

Eric ... ?, in the ship gym, do they play music or is it just the creaking of the bones, er, I mean machines? I can't believe that I'm admitting that I've joined a Curves and have been going 4 times a week for the last month. Problem is that I think I need music to keep a beat. Another dumb ? ... how do you get into the gym. Do you have to go in thru the spa? I've done the walking around deck 4 BUT may OMG want to try the gym so I don't get out of practice with some of the machines, etc.

MaryJo ... Are you out there?

Speaking of which, where are the rest of you guys?

Cathy with @ C

I'm here freezing again. The temperature has dropped a ton so that the winter coats are back on. There are still huge snow hills in the parking lot of the mall across the street from where I work. Hopefully they will melt before May gets here. We don't have any snow left in our yard though so I guess that's a start. Keep looking in the backyard at the pool and still can't imagine swimming yet. It's half way through April already and we still have to turn the heat on the car. Not fair. Hope this means that we are going to have a long, hot summer though.

My client came in this morning in a tshirt and I asked if he was cold. He was but because they are in the middle of moving he doesn't know what box his winter coat is in! He said yesterday he had to wear shorts but he did find long pants so at least he's a little warmer than yesterday.

It's supposed to warm up for the weekend though which will be nice.

Gotta go and get some work done. Want to leave early.

Fiona

Hi...I am here and admit that I have been lurking lately because of work load!! Hope everyone has a great Easter!!

Eric...I didn't get a list lately (the last list that I have is the 19th edition)..I will try to find your aol address and email you my email address again (work email)

Scootersmom...if you're out there lurking...I've sent you an email about Williamsburg--email me your phone number and we are going to try and hook up with you at the end of your vacation...might be easier with phone numbers than depending on email contact.

I feel like the vacation ambassador..I am slowly running out of vacation time especially with the long weekend in Williamsburg but we will get to meet alot of you before we actually sail which will be neat. Hope to contact papa when we are in Nashville and we are definitely meeting Bettemom and Kim when we go to Vermont. I know we will definitely be running out of money by the time this summer is over!!

Tullirose and Arlene..are you in for a Baltimore meet with padisneyfan and Hopkins and whoever else wants to join us?? Hope work has slowed down a little bit, Rosemary..we are involved in HIPAA at work and are facing a visit from JCAHO this summer so it has been crazy here! Have a great holiday!!

Finally there is a running track of 400meters (1/4 mile) around the ship.

This is what I was hoping for. Yes! Sign me up on the workout schedule. Gotta make sure that new swimsuit fits the whole trip with all the goodies I'll be eating and the spirits I'll be drinking. Man, I can't wait...

Cathy,
all the treadmills have outlets for headphones, you can plug into one of several TVs hanging from the ceiling or just listen to some music. The classes are taught with music, of course. But I can't remember if there was music palying from speakers in the gym. So don't forget to bring some headphones!!

The gym entrance is through the Spa reception area.

I'll have to put headphones on the list to pack and steal them back from my DS. I've purchased 2 (yes 2) portable cd players for myself and he's taken both at various times. He left one in his grandmother's condo in Florida and the other one he doesn't know where. The next one I'm putting under lock and key.:p

Sitting at work waiting for the computer guy to come and fix my computer so that I can print. One of the secretaries (she has such bad luck with computers) went to print labels and the label is somewhere in the printer but no one can locate it. It's there though because it shows up every time you print out something on that printer. It's actually quite funny.

Unfortunately when the secretary who looks after the computers tried to route my computer to the main printer it keeps telling her that I'm not part of the network. Now if I'm not part of the network I shouldn't have been able to access documents located on the server, print to the printer that's now apart and waiting to be fixed or access the internet -- all things I could do. She's at a loss so she's called in the computer guy to look at it. In the meantime I can't print anything but luckily nothing important has to go out today and it can wait til Monday. Gives me time to surf anyway.

;)

Having fun at work today and looking forward to Easter.

Happy Easter everyone. I'm going to try for the chat this weekend and hopefully I can get the chat thing working this time.

Fiona

Yesterday, sandals and sleeveless top. Today, tutleneck and sweater. I realize it is spring but a 50 degree temperature change in one day is a bit much. Yesterday, I had opened the window up in my office and forgot to close it before I left. Needless to say the office was freezing this morning.

I always walk every morning 2 to 3 miles around deck 4. However, it is so boring with no hills. So I might try the treadmills this time. Where I walk at home, I can vary the intensity of the walk depending on which way I go. Plus, I live at the top of a hill so the walk always ends going up that hill. I hope I can remember a headset. I think I need to start to make a list now.

Since I will be doing a cruise in May, maybe I will just keep everything in the suitcases and not have to repack for the Oct cruise.

Rosemary-- I agree I love the summer months so don't want them to go by too fast. It is just so nice not to have to deal with anymore snow.

I don't have a digital camera or scanner, so I don't know what I am going to do about getting a picture to you Eric. I have to see if I can find someone who has a digital and take Norm and my picture.

Well, got to get ready to leave work. Both sons are home 3 days for the Easter break. There is no food in the house, so need to stop at the store.

Talk to you all soon.

Nancy

cdnmickeylover...can appreciate your DS and his cd players...can't tell you how many we have bought for DD (13) and she has dropped two of them on the tile floor in the kitchen and now neither of them work..she can't understand why!! Needless to say, she has stolen my DH's cd player..lock and key sound real good to us!! She is never without her headphones and cd player--sometimes, I'll talk to her in the car and I feel like I should be signing to someone deaf because she doesn't hear a word I say (I think it might have something to do with selective hearing also!!) Have a great Easter!!

Would love to chat some weekend but have no idea how to even go about this!! Not exactly computer savvy!!

Eric - Although I received the updated list, I deleted the PDF one without opening it because I prefer the Word format (smaller file), but that was my big mistake this time. For some reason, the Word doc arrived as a mixture of plain text in half ASCII/half binary. In other words, it was not pretty and not entirely readable, so I trashed it and figured I'd just wait for the next update. :p
