CRUD! As I wait, Delta just went up $25 per ticket on my flight

Well, darn! Guess that's what I get for waiting. Undecided about flying anyway, guess it's a "sign" <LOL!>

A $25 increase x5 people is a decent amount

Don't worry. Delta has a habit of going up and down with their prices on a pretty much daily basis.

When I reserved our tickets for this past June, they were $253.50/pp. A few days later they were $212.50/person which I grabbed because I knew they wouldn't go much lower than that.

So check daily!!

Definitely keep checking. My November flight on Song from Hartford has ranged from at least $250, down to $171, and it's often been $191-$220. This is all in the past month. It seems to change every few days.

Overall, Delta lowered their prices to match SWA's fall rates. I'm not sure if ALL the Delta rates are fluctuating so frequently, or if my flight keeps changing, as people book and cancel. Good luck!

I have been checking Song rates for Jan. and the price hasn't started to come down yet but Sept. - Dec. (no hoilday dates) have been changing like crazy!

They seem to be resting around the $86.00 one way price for now (weekday). As soon as the drop comes for Jan. I am on it!!

I've been waiting for a good Delta deal for almost 3 months! We are flying out of SDF (Louisville) and all flights have been jumping UPWARDS instead of downwards!! AACCKK!! Its killing me. We haven't ever paid more than $175 rt out of SDF to MCO and right now they are wanting between $230-$268.50 for the flight times we normally take. Its frustrating! SW hasn't offered any good deals either-- their cheapest so far this summer has been $224 rt per person. So I'm waiting and waiting for good deals for our Oct. trip. We are almost at 3 months away and I'm getting antsy!!!

Loveswdw... not sure but have you tried checking for a lesser # of tickets? Again, I'm not sure it would work but I need 5 tickets, which are $169 when I put in 5 passengers, but $144 when I put in 3 passengers and search again with 2 passengers. I don't know if there are other associated fees with this that would not make it worth getting the tickets separately, but seems like you could just pick seats beside each other and buy tickets in 2 sets....

I only need 2 tickets as its just DH and myself. I've checked daily for the past 3 months and $210 was the lowest so far. I didn't book then thinking it would go down. Not the case! So I am still hoping!
