For my 30th b-day I quick booked CRT for a good ADR at dinner. We have the free dining...but now I'm wondering if we want to use two credits on it. I've read some good reviews for 1900 PF and wondered if I'd be just as happy eating there. We've eaten at CRT pre-the new changes and loved it. The menu now does look good, but worth it? Even for my big 3-0????

Thanks!

I think it comes down to this. When you walk by the castle, are you going to have a twinge of regret? Are you really in love with the idea of eating in the castle or would you be happier getting more for your credits? We don't do the dining plan as we're AP holders, but we did go to b-fast at CRT on my b-day in Dec. before the prices went up. If we hadn't, I admit that I'd probably be guilty of trying to come up with excuse to splurge on a meal there. Now I have no regrets when we walk by. We don't even consider trying to get ADRs there, as the prices are more than we feel it's worth. We've had 2 so-so b-fasts there (great atmosphere, friendly but poor service, decent food) If you long to eat there, though, it could be well worth those 2 credits.

If I had the free dining and I really, really wanted to I would eat at CRT. DD wanted to eat there this year but it isnt worth the money. I told her the cost of each and she said (at age 5!) that it is too much money. She chose to meet Cindy at 1900. They have good food there and we really enjoyed our time there. I cannot justify the 2 credits for CRT, but maybe I could if it were free.
