CRT split room dining plan and changing hotel reservation?

I have a split question on CRT. We are a party of 6 and will be staying in 2 rooms at Pop one room getting deluxe dining the other quick service. We did this in May and it worked great! We have never gone to CRT. Here is my questions

1- Has anyone had issues making online reservation for CRT and selecting to use dining credits or paying at CRT and using more credits than your party size? We didn’t last time but I know CRT is a little different.


2- We are going to book a reservation with Disney because our 180 days is coming up and we want to make sure we can make our ADRs but after that time there is a strong possibility we will switch to a TA reservation. If we cancel our Disney and make a new TA reservation would our ADR be cancelled?
