We are planning to have breakfast at CRT, is it a better value to use 2 dining credits per person or pay out of pocket? I hate to use the 2 credits, it feels like its not worth it.

That's hard to say - I paid about $45 per adult after tax for breakfast so I'm not sure how that equates to the dining plan prices.

It might be better to spend the 2 dining credits there then have table service at another restaurant (Like Liberty Tree Tavern) to balance the costs?

You really have to do your math homework, everyone is different...

Before we added CRT, I lined up all of our estimated TS costs from most expensive to least. The most expensive 6 (since we are staying 6 nights) are our DDP meals and the rest are OOP. However now that I just snagged a CRT ressie, I need to reevaluate what to do. CRT will cost approx $178 for us, so in order to get a good value I need to remove 2 TS meals from my original DDP list that will total less than $178. But with where we are eating, I can't find 2 that will cost below $178 combined. So, for us, CRT will be out of pocket!

we paid cash for it but our visit to crt is not until June so i can't say what its worth. I think if its a long trip I may use the credits. We only have the dining plan for 4 nights in June and looking at where else we plan to dine paying cash made sense.

when we go in december i do plan to use the credits. we'll be there 9 nights.

For adults, I would pay OOP. If you have Disney kids, I'd use the credits for them and pay OOP at an a la carte place for them.

we used the DP. Got to our resort around 2PM on arrival day and used a CS credit for dinner so had an "extra" TS credit from that day so we were not short any credits for the other days in our trip.
