We will be celebrating my oldest DD's birthday while at WDW in April. :cool1: I have CRT booked but after looking at the menu I am having second thoughts. I took a look at the menu for 1900 PF and the food sounds so much better. She says she doesn't care where we go as long as we go "somewhere nice." So, for those of you that have been there, which would you chose?

Ok, I was off. I looked at so many menus, they all blended together.

So basically either CRT for lunch or 1900 PF for dinner?

We have done both CRT L and 1900 PF D...Enjoyed 1900 SO much more!!! The interaction between the Step mother and sisters almost turns into a show. Plus there is still Cindy and the prince. If you "get into it" with the characters it is even more fun.
The menu at CRT is limited where at least you have some options on the buffet ato 1900.
You can have fun at both. For some it is the experience of eating in the castle. For others it is with whom you are dining.
If this is a budget concious trip I think CRT costs more...I know it is 2 credits on the DDP where 1900 is just one credit.
You will be happy with either meal I'm sure!

We went to both CRT for lunch and 1900 PF for dinner in July for DD's 13th birthday. She got a signed card by the princesses at CRT and a signed placemat as well as a tiara/crown at 1900 PF. My DD said that she liked 1900 PF better than CRT. She also got asked to dance with Prince Charming at 1900.:lovestruc I'm not sure if this had something to do with it.;) I'm not sure of the age of your daughter but I would probably choose 1900 PF.

You mentioned the menu's. If you are selecting based on the food then I'm guessing that DINNER at 1900 PF is probably going to be better.

But if you are going for the Character Experience, then I think that most folks would prefer the lunch in the Castle with Cinderella, etc.

Here is another point to consider. You were lucky enough to get a ressie for CRT for lunch. You may not be that lucky again. However, you are going to have many opportunities to book 1900 Park Fare for Dinner. I booked 1900 Park Fare on 6 weeks notice last year (ok, we did get the last sitting, but still we got in). You'll probably never get CRT at 6 weeks.
