I called today for my dining ressies. I couldn't get breakfast in the castle, so I booked dinner at the Grand Floridian instead. What are the odds that if I keep calling I could still get in at the Castle? I don't know if it is worth the trouble to keep trying or if I should keep what I have. We don't want to do both meals, it is strictly a this one or that one thing. Also if we keep the dinner reservation I was thinking about going to the Bibbity Bobitty Botique before for the girls to get done up. What do you guys think?

We did the Cindy's Gala Feast at 1900 in May last year and it was one of my favorite character meals. The interaction was great and the food was good and lots of options for everyone. It wasn't overcrowded. We aren't going to go back to CRT this year but will be doing the gala feast again!

I'd vote for 1900 any day. We did both on our December trip. 1900 was by far the better food and better character atmosphere. The only good part of CRT was the castle atmosphere (and nearly double the price!)

I've haven't done a character meal at the Castle since the changes. Have always enjoyed my meals here. There is something special about eating here.

That being said one of my favorite character meals is 1900 Park Fare. Food is excellent and character interaction great.

The castle is special but given the choice I'd pick 1900 Park Fare any day.

I'd pick 1900 Park Fare due to the changes to the Castle.

But was yesterday your 180 day from check in or when you want to eat at CRT? Most have better luck calling at exactly 180 days from when they want to eat.
