CRT - might add dining plan but already prepaid

If I booked and prepaid for CRT, but now decide to add the DDP, can I get refunded for my prepayment and use dining credits instead? Would I be able to call now to get this adjusted? Or would I have to wait until my actual ADR date (in April)?

When you arrive for your reservation let them know you are on the dining plan and ask them to refund your card then.

You can call and have the payment refunded and secured with your dinner by plan. I always worry about getting a CM who doesn't know the proper procedure; they could lose your reservation. If they do it correctly, that's not a risk, but we don't have the best track record with competent CM's. I'd wait until you're there unless you really need that money back now.

I was able to cancel my original reservation and reschedule under the dining plan. The time was still available though.

Yes, they will refund you at the restaurant. We actually had ours back before we left Orlando.

Personally, I wouldn't chance canceling and rebooking CRT for a refund. The reservation system doesn't always automatically release ADRs...and if it does, they are almost always snatched up quickly.
