CRT late lunch question.

I was able to snag a 2.30 crt lunch during free dining

But, now Im thinking about how the interaction/experience is going to be.

Lunch ends at 3 right? does dinner start right at 3?

So the princesses will be very close to the end of their shifts. Will everything be rushed Im sure we'll still be in the restaurant at 3 and what if they are running behind seating people?

Im excited to be eating in the palace for the first time ever and the kids have met the princesses before and this meal is a surprise for them so they'll have no expectations.

just wondering if anyone had any similar experiences to share at this or any restaurant (we have a 3.55 at 50sptc)

Anytime I've ate there, it's been VERY rushed, no matter what time it is. I think you'd get to see all of the characters, assuming that they get you in the dining room at your reservation time. We always arrive about 10 minutes prior to our time, and aren't seated until about 15 minutes after our reservation time. You have to allow time in the lobby for the photo with Cinderella and then waiting time to be seated.

through CRT pretty quickly. It's a small restaurant in high demand.

We haven't eaten at CRT late but have eaten meals at other character dining late in the service. The characters hae always been engaging in those instances. It's similar to the parades. We usually watch the Main Street Electrical Parade at the end of the route. Even when the have passed all of the guests, the perfromers are still dancing and going through routines. You do not see them out of character. The same works for characters at the meals. Also I distinctly remember last year someone asking if we had the opportunity to meet with all of the characters.

And dinner doesn't start until 4:00 so you should have plenty of time to enjoy your meal.
