I haven't booked just YET (can't until 9/28) but I would like some opinions.

My plan is to do 1900 PF for dinner one day and Akershus (PSB) one night for dinner also.

Since I'm doing those two that have a lot of princess and 1900 PF includes Cinderella should I do lunch or dinner at CRT??

I believe dinner at CRT has the fairy godmother and the mice....correct??? I believe the girls get a wand and the boys get a sword?

CRT would be on our last full day at WDW and DD will be going to BBB that day also.

Debating........debating!!

Off topic, but just wanted you to know the following about when you will be able to book since your trip is in March.:)

"Beginning November 21, 2008, the launch of a more robust reservation system for dining, recreation and tour bookings will replace the current Dining Reservation System. With the launch of the new booking system, reservations for dining, recreation, and tours may be conveniently secured during one interaction instead of the multiple transactions required today. This supports our commitment to leverage technology to enhance the overall Guest experience. The upgrade to the new system begins July 21, 2008, with minimal impact expected to the booking window. As the application upgrade occurs, the latest reservation date Guests are able to secure with the current systems is February 22, 2009. Once the upgrade is completed the booking window will expand back to the normal 180 days."

Oh yes I was just referring to the CRT that is one of the few restaurants that can be booked 180 days in advance. :goodvibes

Figures the one time I stay onsite and actually am up on all of ADR's and all over the disboards they have this new system coming through!!! :rolleyes1

I liked dinner at CRT. You get your picture with Cinderella, and yes, the Fairy Godmother and Suzy and Perla (the mice) come around the tables during a very short program. We were all adults, so I don't know about the sword and wand, but I've heard that's what they do. We arranged to have our dinner at the same time the fireworks were happening. They lower the lights and pump the sound throughout the restaurant, and the fireworks are right outside your window. If you don't have a window seat that might be a little difficult to see, but we loved it.

Just wanted to make sure you weren't going to be trying to book all your ADR's. :) Now let's just hope they get everything up and running on time!!!

Sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned for your daughter!:thumbsup2

I sooooo hope they have everything up and running on time. I'm thinking of taking the morning off from work when the system comes back up because I know the phones are going to be AWFUL. :rotfl:

Thank you! Also thanks for raving about PSB. I was so afraid but I checked out allears and the menu actually looks pretty good. And that pic of your DD is just icing on the cake. princess: :wizard:

We ate lunch at CRT in January and loved it. Later the same week, we had dinner there - DH and the kids liked it; I did not like it as much as lunch. I had the prime rib and it was room temperature at best. I will say, I had the prime in 2006 before it was a character meal, and it was delicious, so maybe the last time was a bad night.

At our lunch, we (me and DD-5) were seated right by the window and looked out at Fantasyland. It was perfect.

We're doing lunch again this coming January.

We've eaten lunch at CRT twice and had a wonderful experience both times. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either lunch or dinner. It is just a great place!

do lunch, but that's because of the characters. We didn't go this summer so it has been about 15 months since we last ate their. I liked the lunch. We'll be back there again next June.
