I was able to get ADR's for CRT for early dinner but I'm having second thoughts. From what I've been able to find, it seems like a lot of expense for only limited character interaction. My kids will enjoy eating at the castle but it doesn't seem as special as breakfast or lunch. Any input or advice? Thanks

Also, just curious, do the kids get swords and magic wands at dinner too? I didn't see any mention of them for evening time. Thanks!

We are going for our first time in Sept., so I only have the information that I have read here. We decided against doing dinner because it is considered a "magical moment" and not a character meal. From what I read, that means that the Fairy Godmother and two mice come out and do a little show, but don't come to the tables for autographs or pictures. The kids also don't get the wands/swords, instead you get a lithiograph. All meals include the picture package with Cinderella. So we are going to do the lunch.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. I guess I'll cancel it. I doubt I'll be able to get lunch or breakfast this late. Maybe next time. :)

:goodvibes When you call to cancel, double check to see if you can't get a late lunch. Since this is a prepay event, people will cancel and not no show. Good luck!

Thanks again. Ill try that!

Any idea on their latest lunch time? I didn't realize the princesses weren't there for dinner, so I'll have to change my ressie!

Just wanted to reply to the dinner in question . . .

We were there in January & the only character we saw was Cinderella--as we entered the boys had their picture taken with her. There was no show at all then (unless we missed it, but we were there for a good amount of time). No swords for the boys either.

The food was good--but it was just a TS meal for us, no character interaction (although we didn't expect anything either--Cinderella being in the "lobby" was a surprise).

We are doing the dinner because we are 4 adult ladies, and just wanted a really special meal in the castle....we do not care for character interaction too much rather than a good dining experience (keeping fingers crossed).

I have taken my family to CRT breakfast before, and it was great. The kids did not care much for the breakfast, and DH said it was ok once, but did not feel it was worth doing again, but I really enjoyed it and the character interaction was wonderful....albeit a little rushed, and the whole meal was a little rushed, but I was expecting that.

Good luck, and hope that you can get that lunch...it does sound like lunch and breakfast are better for the kiddies than dinner is. :goodvibes
