I really want to see the fireworks from INSIDE the castle. Has anyone ever done this? Is it worth it? How good is the view, and where is the best place to be sitting? And also how likely is it that we could be seated near a window?

We always eat at CRT during the fireworks. It has become a little tradition for us. We really enjoy it. The best place to see them is by the windows. We always ask for a table by the window and have lucked out and always gotten it. However, that is only a request and not a guarantee, so one could go and not be able to get it. We feel it is worth it and a bit magical. Do know that you will not be able to see all of the fireworks, so if that is important to you that is not the way to go. Just my 2 cents. :)

Thank you so much!!! I was so hoping that was the kind of response I was going to get. What time do you usually make your reservation? 30 minutes before fireworks? or earlier than that? Do you request window seating when you make the reservation?

I also think watching Wishes from within CRT is a fun experience. I don't recommend it for people that haven't seen Wishes yet or for guests that want to see the entire show, but for those that are looking for an alternative view, it's a fun one. They do dim the lights and pipe in the music. I also recommend asking if you can be seated near the windows when you check in (you cannot make a table request when you make the reservation), but as mentioned, it's just a request and they might not be able to meet it. I would aim for a reservation about an hour before fireworks. That gives you time to check-in, have your photo, and then be taken to your table.

We make our reservation for 8:45 pm when the fireworks are at 10pm, timing works out perfect for eating dessert while the fireworks are going off. We do not request the window seating until we get there. They will even tell you then that it can't be guaranteed, but like I said we have always lucked out and gotten one. There is just something about the fireworks lighting up the dining room that is magical. If you decide to do it I hope you get a window seat and enjoy it as much as we do! :-)

1) The view is terrible.
2) You get to see some sparkles through the "stained glass" windows.
3) If you plan for WISHES from CRT, prepare for disappointment.

Thanks everyone for the input! I am going to book it. We have been 3 times in the past 4 years so have already seen Wishes from a few different views. We are also going to be there for 6 days and doing MVMCP one night so even if it is disappointing we'll get a second chance. DS is not that into Princess so as he gets older I know it will only get harder to convince him to go so this trip seems perfect.

So happy to hear the positive comments and see those beautiful photos! We made an 8:30 reservation for 10 pm fireworks and hoping to stretch out our dinner. Does anyone know if window tables can accommodate a party of 3? We are celebrating my daughter's Sweet 16 and would love to make the experience as special as possible!
