CRT - Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner

While making a dinner ADR at CRT the CM asked me if I knew the dinner didn't have charachters. I said yes, I know you meet Cinderally in the Lobby but that was it (I thought it was like that for all meals). She then let me know that both Breakfast and Lunch have more charachters coming around during the meal. I did some research and it seems at dinner there is a "sparkling magical somthing" that happens.

My DD will turn 3 on that day - she is not 100% gaga over princesses yet - but she does know who they are (she is more into the mouses and the dogs!)

So my question - what would be more magical for her? Breakfast/Lunch or Dinner.

I have read the review here - but it is only for dinner. If someone could tell me the difference between that and breakfast/lunch that would be great.

Thanks!

Ok I will try to answer this the best way that I can,Breakfast and Lunch at CRT are similar you meet Cindy and take a photo Cindy does not actually enter the Dinnig room and oh the Photos come free with all the meals,on with breakfast and lunch, there are different princesses that are in the dinnig room with you that come and visit your table sign autographs and it gives you a chance to talk and take photos with these beautiful characters,Dinner eqauls the photo with cindy no princesses and no pics with other princesses or autographs, but you will get a little show with the fairy godmother and the mice perla and I cant think of the other one,now if you are unable to get CRT the next best thing if not better is the Princess Story Book Breakfast! Hope that this helps! Since I have never been to CRT;)

Your DD may not be "into" princesses yet - but just wait until you see someone like Snow White coming over to your table to talk to your DD! It is magical. You will have pictures you will cherish. I would recommend breakfast or lunch for that character interaction.

with ms*montaineer. Most young kids really like characters. Our first visit to CRT was when our daughter had just turned three. She was thrilled and wanted to go back as soon as possible. The princesses all ahd good conversations with her. She was still thrilled at four. We had to skip DW this year for family reasons but will be back at CRT next summer.

So dinner is out for us because we must have characters. We do the lunch. The early morning breakfast ADRs are the hardest to get and we're usually not firm on dates until well after the 18 day mark. A later breakfast also interferes with touring plans so breakfast is not ideal. Also I prefer lunch over breakfast. Some croissants (or begniets if staying at POFQ), fruit and granola bars to hold us over until lunch works well for us. And this year our daughter will be doing BBB before the meal making lunch a better option.

We've been to all three meals, several times. Only breakfast and lunch have all the princesses visiting tables.

Breakfast and lunch are the same (except the menu:rolleyes: ). The food is better at lunch. Some really like breakfast because you can secure an ADR before the park opens, so you don't waste park time...and it's kind of cool to be in the park before everyone else.

Dinner was decent--nothing spectacular.

Timely thread from me as I have a lunch ADr here for Sunday the 28th....

I was a little concerned as I havent read the greatest food reviews. Also wasnt sure if I should pay oop or use the plan. Think I will pay oop and save credits for Cali Grill later in the week. ( I do have a fear of somebody getting sick, missing ADR and wasting credits... so my new rule was to use up all credits and not save any....)

It will be our first time here and I hope my family has a good experience.

Holy hijack.
Sorry

We had lunch there on the 11th and were pleased with the whole experience. We went during free dining and I went with low expectations because of it. (I pd. out of pocket for this meal) The FD didn't negatively effect anything. The food and service was very good. The character interaction was good. Each on took ime to sign autographs and take pictures. There was even a little thing that they did which was cute for the kids.

We did lunch when we went last year and it was so awesome! they do one of those "magical sparkling" things too and my 3 year old cousin loved it! they get these wishing stars and the boys get swords and i believe the girls get magic wands to wave in the air. The princesses come around and you get to take pictures with them and it was a lot of fun. My only complaint about the whole thing is that the meals are pre-portioned and brought to your table to share, so i felt that we did not get enough food for everyone, but otherwise it was a fun experience.

I prefer lunch over breakfast. I like the food better.
