Just made my ADRs this morning and I WAS planning on going back to bed afterwards but now I'm worried. I had everything planned out and then right before I hit "check availability" I saw that we couldn't eat at CRT at 7 because Spectromagic starts at 7 that night. So...I put in 5pm and 5:30 was the option they presented. I snatched it up because eating in the castle is super important but so is Spectromagic!!! Is an hour and a half long enough to eat at CRT? I hate the idea of being rushed but I think I read once about watching Spectro from the balcony if you eat at CRT? Please someone calm my fears! I NEED sleep!

I guess that if I had on option to try for a different time, I would. You might make it in 1 1/2 hours, but it would definitely be rushing it. Then there's the issue of having time to find a good spot. Is breakfast an option?

We aren't really breakfast people. There is a 4pm open but that seems too early for dinner....man oh man.

1 1/2 hours is plenty ot time to eat at a Disney restaurant. They do "rush" you so they can squeeze in more people. If you don't linger - you can easily get out in that time. As far as Spectro - depends on the time of year and how crowded it is or what is important as far as viewing.

I would choose the 4:00 time slot. NO rushing, they may not get you in exactly at your other time if they are running late. I don't like to rush, so I would choose 4, just have an early lunch at 11:00 & 4 will be a great time for dinner. Remember, the ADR would be 4, but you probably won't be eating until about 4:30. :santa::santa::santa:

We are first timers for the most part and when I made dinner reservations at Crystal Palace all I thought about was the Fireworks and didn't even think about Spectro. The ressies we got were for 7:20 but it starts at 8. Does anyone know if we show up early if we have a chance of getting in early? How long does it usually take to eat there? Is CP anywhere near the end of the parade so we can run outside and catch it?
