CRT and prepayment

I have a Feb. 1 CRT and they have charged my credit card in full. I am on the dining plan so I thought they would just use the credit card as a deposit. I need to call them and straighten it out but just curious if some of you disney experts knew what was up. I know prepayment is required but I thought if you were on the dining plan it was not???? How can I go into this breakfast and use credits if its allready been paid for.....I know they needed the credit card to secure the reservation but it was my understanding no charge would be made?

AND if anyone has a Jan. 31 CRT I'd love to have it!!!! (doesn't hurt to ask...right?)

They did not even charge my card. I didnt even remember giving them my cc number. But after a previous discussion on the boards I checked and no charge had went to my cc. They just said as long as I was on the dining plan it was fine. I didnt have a reservation yet so I thought I was going to have to pay first then get it fixed. She said we could do that but then she said we really didnt need to if I was sure I was going to be on the plan.

If you were charged, I believe that when you go to the meal and are on the dining plan, they will credit your card at that time.

I have an ADR for Feb 5th. They did take my credit card info but it was never charged -she noted i had the dining plan. I was told i would be charged in full if i did not show up.

They made a mistake. They take everyone's CC and charge it in full UNLESS you are on the dining plan...in that case they just hold it on file in case you are a no show. Then they will charge your CC.

Just call back and ask for a credit. I'm sure they will fix this for you.
