If you had to pick one meal to eat at CRT, would you do breakfast, lunch or dinner, and why?

Ditto for Ohana.

I'd pick lunch. One of the prime reasons we have gone and will go is that our daughter loves princesses. Since dinner doesn't have the characters mingling during the meal that is eliminated (for now).

Lunch also works in our touring plans better. We go in the summer and take a break in the afternoon. It's common for the kids to go to bed near midnight. Getting up an hour earlier is difficult. Also, none of us really eat a large meal first thing in the morning. A couple of croissants and an order of begniets was the normal breakfast last trip with a mid morning snack. Lunch comes at a time when it's getting a bit warm outside and the A/C break is welcomed. Usually after lunch it's back for a swim and nap.

We did breakfast for both. Love the characters, and in the case of CRT, making an 8:00 reservation and being in the near empty park before everyone else (on a non-EMH day).

We loved the breakfast at 'Ohana so much that we did it TWICE last September. We had other ressies (Planet Hollywood), so we cancelled PH and added 'Ohana. We have ressies for one 'Ohana breakfast for this September, but I am considering calling back to see if we can get a second ressie for another day....:lovestruc

Why??? Because we LOVE Mickey, Lilo, & Stitch....and the juice that they serve there is AWESOME!

Mmm, yep!! I must have gotten ten refills!!

For Ohana, it really depends for what you are looking, because the two meals are very different. We did both, and to summarize, for breakfast, there are characters (some of my son's favorites,) but the food is kind of blah, IMHO. For dinner, there are no characters, but the food is great. So, if you have to choose one, I would ask my self the following:

Am I going for the characters?
- If yes, then breakfast is your only choice.
- if no, then go for dinner.

My family loves dinner at O'Hana's ... never been to CRT.

Dinner at ohanas. The food is great. There are no characters but they will keep you entertained with coconut races and the limbo, hawaiian line dance.
