CRT and Dining Plan

Hello Friends,

Question- I just booked CRT and had to pre pay with CC. However, we are planning on getting DDP at a later date. Will they refund CC when I use DDP or should I just pay cash for CRT?

You can let your server know that you want to use dining plan credits and they will refund your cc. You could also call the dining reservation line after you add the dining plan and ask them to modify your payment method, but often they'll want to cancel the reservation and refund the credit card. You do NOT want this to happen so be sure the CM knows how to modify the payment without cancelling the res.

Whether you pay with credits or cash is your choice. CRT is 2 credits so you'll need to figure out what you'll spend at the other TS restaurants to decide whether CRT would be worth 2 credits or better OOP.

With the new dining plan prices I calculate the adult credit values at:
$60.64 DDP cost per night for an adult: less $4 for the snack and $18.64 inc tax for the counter service leaves $38 inc tax for the table service credit.

For personal reasons I will use my CC to pay for CRT because it's a 2 credit meal, and they've already charged my card for it...

Then it frees up the credits to use somewhere else...

Do they always charge you up front? The website said it had to be paid in full, said I was being charged, yet I never have been. Ressie is loud and clear on MDE. Later that day a CM on the phone did say they would refund and use credits if I wanted but it never came out of my account that I can tell. Seems I'd notice that amount especially when I was specifically looking for it.
