My 3 yr. old daughter loves cinderella, so we have to meet her. I scheduled the CRT dinner-where Cinderella doesn't actually go around the tables and 1900 Park Fare where she does. Should I go to both? I really want to dine in CRT but I'm worried about my daughter not getting to meet Cinderella if I cancel 1900 Park and just go to CRT. :confused3

We just recently had dinner at CRT and had an absolutely magical time! Here is my review http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1227396 I feel everyone must dine in The Castle-at least once! Even though Cinderella was only in the lobby for autographs and pictures, she spent quite abit of time "chatting" with us-she had quite the conversation with my 5 yo granddaughter. The pictures we took of them smiling and and talking and whispering to one another are priceless! :goodvibes

I thought Cinderella just takes a picture for the photo package and thats it. I didn't know she actually has the time to talk to you. I also heard that sometimes, you take the picture with someone other than Cinderella, like the fairy godmother or mice. Is this true?

They changed the castle though it is still nice. It was a meal with no photos and Cinderella and like 4 others would come around. We went in January and did the pics with Cinderella downstairs and then others came around to see you at the tables and they would come trying to sell you the photo package. From what I read sometime after we got back they switched it to where the photo package is included but upped the price. Still cheaper than it was if you bought the photos as we did.

My daughter and wife really love eating in the castle but I prefer the princess meal in Ekershus in Norway for lunch. The food is 1,000,000 times better. Same deal with photos there. My daughter got her's with Ariel with legs. The food there you get a hot and cold buffet of apps and then you pick off of a menu for your meal.

If you can go with no Cindy and do other princesses, I would suggest that and go and see Cindy at the judges tent in Mickey's Toontown fair.

But that all being said, my wife and daughter won out and we are doing the Castle on our next trip and not Norway.

I can only speak from our experience this past August. Our photos were taken with Cinderella for the included photo package yet they were more than happy to let us take our own pictures. And as i wrote above, Cindella spent a nice bit of time "chatting" with us and signing our autograph books. Upstairs, I was able to get pictures of my son with the mice (one picture with each) Yet again, I can only speak from our experience. :goodvibes

I forgot to mention, the lunch is different at the Castle then dinner unless that changed.

I too can only speak from experience. We never did the CRT Cinderella thing. We ate in the Castle for dinner and met Cindy in the lobby, took picture. That was nice. The dinner in the Castle was so so. Not too good, but hey it was in the castle.

Now 1900 park fare in my opinion is much better. The food was fantastic. Best Buffett we ate on our trip in February. And Cinderella and Prince Charming came to our tables. We also had an added bonus of Sleeping Beauty in the lobby of the restaurant. I never look at 1900 Park Fare as a second choice to the Castle. Especially since it is only 1 ts on the dining plan. Either way you go, you will see Cinderella, so you can't go wrong.
