Crown_Princess and Angrypenguin DFTW 03/30/2009-7/24 Update, MGM studios!

WOW!!! The dress is fabulous and you look amazing in it!!!!

Thank you! You were the first to post and it made me :)

Oh, I absolutely love the beading on the bodice; it is so beautiful :lovestruc The dress looks great on you!

It must be a relief to not have to worry about traveling back and forth anymore. I know my dress shop was over one hour away and it was such a pain to have to go there.

:woohoo: For not needing too many alterations.

I too had buyer's remorse, I guess it's because I never got that "this is the one" feeling, so don't worry in the end I loved my dress and I don't feel any regrets looking at our wedding shots. :bride:

I told DF you said this, bc I found it encouraging. I think the media encouraged me to think I had to have some sort magical experience...not that having my wedding gown hasn't been magical. :wizard: Don't mean to sound unappreciative. I do cherish it!

Congrats on getting your dress!! I love it! It looks wonderful on you!! :goodvibes

YAY!!! You got your dress! It looks so pretty on you! I love the beading on it!

Thanks, that's why I picked it.:goodvibes

your dress is beautiful, you totally got the right one ! and personally I think the veil finishes the look perfectly

Linz xxx :)

Yes. I think it makes me look very "bridal," and also it makes the back look more complete - which people will have to look at.:)

You look amazing! The details on it are just great! How perfect... and top commando..:rotfl: the future husband will love it haha!

;) hehe

It's definitely the perfect dress. In fact, I think it's one of the loveliest wedding gowns I have ever seen, truly. Congratulations!princess:

:flower3: Awwww! THANK YOU!!

You look so perfect in that dress - it is the one for certain :lovestruc

I trust your opinion! It's hard to be objective when you're the obsessing bride.

You look gorgeous!! What a beautiful bride you'll be! princess: :bride:

:cloud9: Every girls dream!

I tend to get buyer's remorse too and have been wondering if I bought the right dress too. I really hate buying things for myself let alone something so pricey.

I think that dress looks great on you though and you will look amazing on your day.:thumbsup2

Definitely the rationale behind my buyer's remorse...but all these great comments I think have moved me beyond it. Thank you!!

You look so pretty in your dress. Congrats on getting it in. And i really wouldn't worry about whether you made the right choice or not because you look amazing in it.

Thank you!

You look amazing in your dress!!!! Trust me! You got the right dress!!! I'm so excited for you!!

Thanks, I thought of you when I went, that's why I had the shop girl take pics. :cool2:

It's the one, looking at how beautiful you look, you can tell! The beading is so pretty and the tiny sparkle in your veil is also beautiful and looks so nice with the gown. Can't wait to see you in it on the REAL day!!!! Those photos will be amazing!

I'm glad that made you feel better. I kind of felt weird and worried about it when I was in your shoes, but like I said in the end I loved my dress and it really was the best one for me :bride:

Planning Trip 10/31/08 Part 1
We left Los Angeles, Ca around 8:15 am Pacific and arrived at Orlando International around 5:50pm Eastern. We checked into Magical Express and rode off to Pop Century. Kev and I kept missing the hotel and resort signs, so we don't have those classic PS Trip pics to post. OOOh well. hehe

We did our best to settle into the time difference by getting "dinner" at pop, which cost us about $25 for two. We headed back to our room before going out for shopping at World of Disney at DTD.

Our room was next to the Computer Pool.

We came back from shopping fairly early, since Patricia from LeJeune was coming at 8:30am to do my hair and makeup trial.
The Big Day hair was not done too complete, since Patricia took it down and did it again in a different style for the engagement photos.
I think it looks pretty good. She said it will be allot cleaner when we do it with hairspray.

Hair and makeup went really well! Patricia has such a great personality, and meeting her makes me feel more confident about the wedding day. I think she will be cheerful and supportive - which goes above and beyond.
:wizard:

At this point it was 10:45 am, so I quickly paid Patricia, said goodbye and changed into a sexy number for our engagement photo session with Randy Chapman. Kev had been patient and cheerful throughout H&M and now was on the ball as we headed out to be supermodels for about 2 hours.

(Eng't pics to come)

Engagement pics ended at Polynesian, so Kev and I grabbed lunch at Captain Cook's scarfed it down, and then walked to Franc's. Randy swung by ahead of time and let the WP know we would be a bit late.

When we came in Carol and Joan, the hostess, were standing at the door waiting patiently. They were warm and welcoming. We were shown into a small conference room off the side of the display (main) room. It was so cold in there!!

We went over the whole BIG DAY chronologically, during the reception portion we had our cake testing.
We decided on raspberry mousse with chocolate cake, dark chocolate mousse with almond cake, and and the raspberry mousse with chocolate cake for our anniversary layer. (I'm so proud of DF, I just asked him what we picked - I forgot - and he told me!) At the appropriate point in the time line, Elizabeth and Rose showed up from Floral and we spent several hours on floral. DF sneaked pics discreetly, as not to be disrespectful or distracting :lovestruc , which I appreciated.

After the planning session we walked to GF for dinner at GF Cafe... the food was so rich that I ended up not eating.
But I did color something fantastic - DF helped!

It looks like your PS trip was off to a good start. We did the H&M, engagement pictures with Randy, and our PS all in one day too and it was quite a long day! You looked beautiful after your trail and I can't wait to see your engagement pictures. That was so great of DF to remember to take pictures for you throughout the entire ordeal :goodvibes

Can't wait to see engagement pics!! Your hair looks great! How long did it take for her to do it all?!

PS Trip Report Part 2: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

After dinner, or un-dinner for me - I couldn't stomach the dish I ordered, at GF Cafe, we headed back to Pop Century to take a short rest and put down our things. We had been toting around a backpack of theme park clothes, but decided that changing and then taking off with the BIG bag, directly to MK would not do. We took the Monorail to MK, then took a bus to POP. We got excited to go to MK when we passed by and saw all the decorations and people lining up to go into the park.

We got back to our room, and it was apparent our detour would cost us a couple hours of the event - started at 7pm - since we were so tired and tempted to sit for awhile. I'm glad we took the time for a break, otherwise we wouldn't have enjoyed the rest of the night.

We got to MNSSHP by 9PM.
First, we saw the villians dance and sing:dance3:
Then the HalloWishes show came on and was 99 Happy Haunt themed
It was a very entertaining show, although not awe-inspiring and all warm-fuzzy feeling like Wishes. I prefer Wishes.

Watching Hallowishes
DSC01045.jpg

After HalloWishes we strolled to the Haunted Mansion.
Last time we were in MK in 2007 HM was closed, we think for refurb.
We really enjoyed riding it again, as the other rides we had been on just a year before. It was nice having been to MK recently, and not having new Disney vistors with us to show around, because we could just pick and choose our favorites and do whatever struck our fancy - no agendas, no pressure. :goodvibes

Pirates was the second ride - no line at all!! Tickets are limited for MNSSHP, and was already past bed time for little kids, so we just strolled right up and got on!! :thumbsup2

Then we saw Goofy's parade - candy themed, and cut across to Future Land. We wanted to do Laugh Floor - Kev had never done it. But it was closed early :sad2:

No worries...we just had more time to visit Mickey and Minnie!!

Loving your TR!! You looked so gorgeous with your hair & makeup done. You have such beautiful eyes and really pretty hair. I can just imagine that look coming together with the dress -- stunning! Can't wait to see engagement pix!

My grandmother informed me earlier this week that she shipped me her china.
I knew she was giving it to me :cool1: but I was :scared: at the idea that it would break.

Well, I just got the box. I haven't taken it all out yet, but I reached in and pulled out one cup. At that moment, I held the cup in my hand, looked at it, turned it carefully, and suddenly felt like crying happy tears. I've been passed the torch! My grandmother silently acknowledged my adulthood and my success. :flower3:

My husband and I were given his grandmother's china as a wedding gift. His sister had no intrest in owning it. She is more of a paper plate kind of girl! LOL After we got married we invited my husband's grandparents over for a special dinner and used the china. She was very touched to see that we used it and enjoyed seeing it displayed in the china cabinet.
Best Wishes on your wedding.

Hey, I just caught up and I want to tell you that the dress is fabulous. There is no need to have second thoughts. The beading is gorgeous.!!!!

How sweet of your grandma to pass it on!! DF mother actually gave us her mothers china which I though wow .. it's like they like me ! haha

Looks like you had a great time at the party! I always love going to the events after regular park hours!

What a wonderful gift from your grandma; definitely something to cherish forever!
