is anyone there right now? how are the crowds? We want to go tomorrow and I'm wondering how the crowds will be?

I'm sitting in HoJo's right now having just returned from the park after it closed this evening. The crowds aren't too bad. Definitely better than what they were this weekend. Shorter hours now that the holiday season has ended: DL is only open 10-8. We spent the first two hours in Fantasyland this morn. Here's a selection of wait times we had today: Peter Pan at 10:30 was about 15 minutes. 11:30 Toad (5 min), walked on Snow White, Carousel. About noon, FantasyLand lines started looking much longer and we noticed the Matterhorn line was to the 40 minute wait mark. Pixie Hollow was about 25 minute line. As DL got busier, we moved to CA Adv where Soarin' was a 10 minute line. Monsters Inc about the same. We were able to walk up to the Fantasmic area at 6:40 and get a front row space right in front of one of the water features on the side nearest BTMRR. It was a much better location than the usual dead-center spot I am used to camping out two hours in advance for as the kids could stay in their strollers and see right over the railing. I meant to swing by the "wait" board, but never did - sorry! (will do so tomorrow in case anyone else has questions) But I hope these helped.

Even this weekend with a much heavier crowd, we found the park quite manageable, esp with Fast Passes. I'd say "go" but start early! By the way, the weather was wonderful today.

I am hearing that January is one of the best months to go because of minimal crowds now that kids are all done with XMas break and back in school.

thanks so much! we got a late start but are getting ready to head over there now! thanks for the info I really appreciate it!

We were pretty surprised at how busy it was yesterday. I know we were expecting a lot less people than we saw. For example, the line for Matterhorn wrapped all the way around every time we went over there and we never did end up riding it. I wonder if it was all the locals finally getting to go back after being blocked out. :confused3

Oh yeah, definitely MommyLove. We were there too and I we all thought, "Well, thank goodness tomorrow's Monday, cuz we'll get to do everything we didn't do this weekend!....Little did we know that it was going to be incredibly busy for a normally off-peak day.

We were in the park yesterday too. Not too bad that time. We went on Matterhorn, Peter Pan, Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh [the rides we wanted to go on all weekend but didn't find the time too]... All in about 2 hours, from 10-2. It wasn't so crowded, but I noticed that there were lots of people with British and Australian accents in the park... Is it vacation time for them there?
