Crowds week before Easter?

Hello, so glad to have found this forum! We'll be going for the first time to Universal March 17-21, staying on site. Will the crowds be out of control? Our only other Orlando experience has been 3X to WDW, each time during President's Week. Needless to say, that was very crowded. We saw everything we wanted to, but it did involve a lot of waiting for the parks to open & dashing about for FastPasses.

I am really hoping that maybe it won't be so hectic this year. Any predictions for crowds would be appreciated!

i just have to say just wait and see the difference from universal and dw...we were at universal during easter break and never waited long and just got back from dw and couldnt believe how crowded it was in january....all i kept saying was i miss universal.... if you are staying onsite you wont have any problems..just enjoy your trip an no running for fp.. i hated that too...feel free to ask any questions
