Crowds week after Memorial Day??

My family and I are planning on visiting June 1-7 How are the crowds during this time? Also, What is the weather usually like?
Will the crowds be thinned out because it is after a long weekend?

My daughter and I arrived ON Memorial Day 2003 and stayed until 2 June. We did not go to a park that day (travel takes all day) so we started on Tuesday. The parks were not crowded. Until Saturday......then you could see a moderate/large increase in crowds. We happened to go to MK for a couple of hours until the miniature golf opened at 10am.

As far as weather..........that is hard to predict. We are from the desert and used to very high temps.......not used to humidity though. The last two days that we were there, we could really tell a difference in the temp/humidity levels.

We are planning our vacation again this year for 28 May til 6 June.

Because my daughter is in high school and takes advanced courses, we can no longer go during the off season in Sept or early Dec like we used to and find this week to be the closest we will come to "slow".

We have visited during this time period and the crowds are usually moderate and the weather can be hot.

You should expect the MK to be very crowded on Saturday, JUNE 5, due to Gay Days . Thursday at AK and Friday at MGM may be crowded as well, but we have not always scheduled around these parks on the selected days and have not experienced large crowds. We have always avoided the MK on the 1st Saturday of June; WDW has had EE at other parks on these Saturdays because of the large number of visitors expected for the MK.
