Crowds The Week Before Memorial Day and on Memorial Day??

OMG! I have some serious moola coming in the first week of May and my schedule allows me to take off the week before Memorial Day and I just got DH's OK that we can go!!

How bad is it that week and that weekend?

I already have off Wednesday26th - Monday31st. I could take off the Tuesday before or after as well. (Not both).

How bad is it going to be? We have been several times before so we know how to work the FP and EE and all that .... but I could not deal with Elbow to Elbow people.

We have been in Mid-August (like the 18th - 22nd) ... is that comparable?

We went last year over Memorial Day. It wasn't too bad. The worst crowds we saw were at MGM on the saturday before for Star Wars Weekends. Other than that, it wasn't too bad!

Thanks for the input. I have also been there Labor Day Weekend ... so I'm hoping that is comparable. We found we just had to stay out of the MK.
