Crowds the week after the 4th

Anyone been to Disney the week after the 4th? DH and I are going the 8th to the 11th no children, just wondering if I was nuts, and what to expect. Still need to pick a resort, any ideas would be great. Thanks

While it won't be as bad as the 4th, it is going to be a busy time. WDW will be firmly into the heavily booked summer season at that point. Be ready to deal with long lines and high heat/humidity.

Exactly correct. High Heat and humidity and wait times 90 minutes or larger for the popular attractions. If you get there at park opening and use fast pass, you will get a lot more done.
