Can someone that's there right now tell me how the crowds are? We're thinking of going this same week next year instead of our usual January trip. Thanks!

Moderate this weekend so far, even a little heavy at MK yesterday. It should start slowing down, though...I hope.

Just got back yesterday... Crowds were there but rides were still only about 20 minute wait for most attractions.. Main Street was a mess for trying to find a good spot for parades and fireworks with all the construction in the hub

A lot more crowded than it used to be! We were pretty much fine at every park except for MK! It was so crowded lastnight but I know it could've been worse. We used to come this week every year and it was nearly empty.. Not anymore! Good thing for FP+. Last night MK was a zoo and getting anywhere during MSEP was impossible... It was nice and cool out and some rides were little to no waits but most were 30-50 minutes. Epcot has been great each time we went. Just got back to POFQ from Epcot. Had an early breakfast at Akershus and got on the headliners with fp's after. We are having a great time and the weather couldn't be more perfect!

We will be attending MVMCP tonight so hoping for lower crowds than lastnight! :santa:

This has been our favorite week to come for years but this year is FAR more crowded than I've ever seen it! MK was a zoo on Friday, Epcot was busy but tolerable yesterday, even Downtown Disney is packed out today. We waited 40+ minutes goer lunch at Earl of Sandwich today (Sunday). After this trip I think we will be find in a new favorite week. The weather has been beautiful though. I wonder if Disney really even has a "down time" anymore?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that experienced this. I was beginning to think I was crazy because a few people responded to my post regarding the huge crowds at MK on Veterans Day saying they thought it was fine and had low waits. Epcot and HS were pretty manageable and I was able to get a lot done in a short period of time. I went to MK at 4pm on Monday for the Christmas party and then all day Tuesday on Veterans Day and I really felt like a sardine packed in the park. Everywhere I went in MK there were huge crowds of people making it tough to walk from one place to the next. Not to mention the 30 to 50 minute waits for rides like POTC and HM which I have never seen going in October. I questioned if it was due to the Holiday weekend but seeing the more recent posts it makes me believe that this is the new norm. I was able to get a good bit done Tuesday morning at MK because I was at rope drop but by noon it was crazy.

I was surprised how crowded it was. MK Saturday was crowded. Touring plans said MK was going to be a 2 so we headed there. Ummmmm no, it was crazy. Saw posted this morning touring plans said what they saw was a 7. Wonder if Disney is going to scale back free dinning and resort discounts on more weeks this next year. It wasn't bad during the week. Nothing like the summer, but more than I expected.

We want a full report in our character thread don't foget us!

MK was crazy last night. NUTS. In general, crowds are reasonable. I'm at HS right now and there are plenty of people here but the lines aren't too bad.

We were at Epcot on Tuesday and crowd levels were really low. We had dinner at Boma and then went to MK to catch our resort bus from there. We met several families who all said it was completely crazy and they wouldn't be back. Wednesday in MK seemed busier to us than leading up to Memorial Day 2012 but, thanks to FP+ and our willingness to cross from land to land for rides, the longest line we waited in was 25 minutes for a Dole Whip. Thursday was very manageable but started picking up after 4 pm when the MVMCP guests started arriving.

We are here now. We went to MK yesterday and it was packed!!! We are headed to Epcot tonight. The wait times on my app don't seem so bad.

We moved here in May this year and I'm in the parks every week. The only time the parks have been what I would consider slow would be during September. The week after Labor Day was the best. That's just a casual observation. I no longer have a need to do rope drop and such, so I don't witness the crowds at opening. I go to the parks for a few hours at a time.

We went to Epcot yesterday and it wasn't too bad. Today we went to MK and it was horrible. We left around 2. I think things will get better starting tomorrow. Weekends are always more crowded. Easy WDW has 2's and 3's for the week. I hope they are right. Headed to HS tomorrow

bumping this up.....curious how the crowds were this past week?? I read that they were a 3, true/?

They were pretty low this week but not sure if the cooler weather had anything to do with it. We go at least once a month and this is the lowest crowds I've seen all year. It has been a very crowded year even on usually low crowd weeks from what I have encountered this year.

We are here this week and haven't found crowds very bad. Yesterday at Hollywood studios the park was practically empty, have never seen one that empty! Today AK seemed crowded, but I think that's just due to all the construction.... EE was basically walk on in the afternoon.

We have been here all week and it hasn't felt crowded at all to me. The only park I noticed crowds was MK and that wasn't until after 1. Honestly we walked up 10 mins on Main St prior to Festival of Fantasy and had a front row spot. Though for the parade and wishes it was packed. This I thunk is due to the limited nights this week though. Had people hopping over clearly just for this.

Tonight you could already see the crowds coming though for Thanksgiving. Anticipating our last 2 days as busy, but I knew this so have lower key days planned as our last 2.

MK was pretty busy yesterday. I wouldn't have called it a 2 or 3, personally. Today, AK was almost walk on for all rides, especially in the morning. Dinoland was empty.
